Hey Pirates we will be listening to Dr. Paul Pearsall from March 20, 2002.........
"I had no idea that Dr. Pearsalll passed away, may he rest in peace"
Psychologist Pearsall had a personal experience with "energy cardiology" when he had hip cancer. He went on to study heart transplants and how the background of a new heart could affect its recipient; for example, one man began to yearn for spicy foods and to study Spanish before he knew that his donor had been Hispanic. He finds evidence in the experiences of heart transplant recipients to support his claim that the heart thinks and the cells remember.
Books
The Last Self-Help Book You'll Ever Need
The Beethoven Factor: The New Positive Psychology of Hardiness, Happiness, Healing and Hope
Toxic Success: How to Stop Striving and Start Thriving
Miracle in Maui: Let Miracles Happen in Your Life
Partners in Pleasure: Sharing Success, Creating Joy, Fulfilling Dreams -- Together
The Heart's Code: Tapping the Wisdom and Power of Our Heart Energy
Wishing Well: Making Your Every Wish Come True
PAUL PEARSALL, Ph. D.
1942-2007*
Dr. Pearsall’s mission in life was to teach by sharing his and others research and theories that were not easily available to the general public. He questioned and wanted others to question the source of new research as well as commonly held but unsubstantiated beliefs particularly in the areas of self-help, psychology and medicine.
Dr. Pearsall was richly rewarded for his work. He received many awards and accolades but he treasured most the personal stories from those whose lives he touched through his work.
It is hoped that Dr. Pearsall’s work will live on through you.
*(Dr. Pearsall was hospitalized for some tests, due to be discharged, became unresponsive and died of a spontaneous intracerebral hemorrhage July 13, 2007).
