Good thing it's just across the hall. You can take a break now and then. Is it a roomier place?

And then again at 10pm:

That wall unit was HEAVY, and I foolishly dragged it and the big old TV in there on my own. My back is already mad at me for that one.

Same size, but a slightly different layout that better fits my furniture. Also, it's fully renovated - the one I am moving out of meanwhile needs work.

Finally, I was also able to move my bookcases over today. Got the cases for movies and Star Trek stuff set-up (as seen in this picture). The books are also set-up, but in cases on the opposite wall.

I have to finish by tomorrow night unfortunately, they begin renovating my old apartment on Monday morning.

Having a friend over tomorrow to help me with the couch, it's the one piece I don't think I can move on my own. My desk goes last, as I will be offline for a few days afterwards.

Wow. That is some collection, Kaz. I wonder what a mover would have quoted for one household, across one hall!

I once helped my brother move from somewhere else in Manhattan to Hell's Kitchen. That may have been the single largest moving related nightmare of my life thus far, although, I'm sure you could top it. Nevertheless, I will never try to catch a cab while carrying a bed-frame again.

I hope you get your cable done faster than it usually does...unless there's a wire already there?

My brother in law lived in Hell's Kitchen...famous for those railroad car shaped apartments and most are walk-ups. Sheesh! He was on the fourth floor too!
