Alien architects are one explanation. The more traditional version is slave labor, log rollers, big ropes, and nasty supervisors with bullwhips....

Analysis of 11 different human gene trees suggests that our species arose in Africa, and that there were at least two major population expansions out of Africa; one over 600,000 and another 95,000 years ago (Cann, 2002). Recent fossil finds in norther Spain extend this earliest migration to 1.2 million years ago. An earlier expansion of Homo erectus from Africa occurred 1.7 million years ago (Templeton, 2002). The first corresponds with the movement of Homo neanderthalensis out of Africa and an increase in hominid (see hominid books) fossil cranial capacity. Archaeologists have found much physical evidence to confirm this date, such as the 0.73 Mya old fossils with stone tools and bison and other animal bones of a generalised Homo species from Isernia in west central Italy. The other date matches the movement of modern humans, Homo sapiens sapiens out of Africa and the appearance of modern traits in fossil skulls. Fossil skull traits such as high, rounded skulls, small brow ridges, a vertical forehead and a pronounced chin first appear in Africa about 130,000 years ago. They then appear outside of Africa over 90,000 years ago (Templeton, 2002). Phylogenetic analysis of Neanderthal mitochondrial DNA leads to a date for the common ancestor of the neanderthal and modern humans at around 465,000 to 600,000 years ago (four times the estimate for the common ancestor of all modern humans) (Disotell, 1999). The common ancestor of the mtDNAs of all living humans lived about 170,000 years ago (Hofreiter et al, 2001). All hominid remains of the last 100,000 years belong to one of these two species (Roe in Waechter, 1990). Ancient remains from a Spanish cave site (La Sima de los Huesos), are a transitional form between Homo erectus and Neanderthals.

In fact, as I’d previously pointed out in “The Debt Ceiling Is Falling! The Debt Ceiling Is Falling!,” the government has routinely and persistently defaulted on its debts for decades. Default is what gov-co does. Default is what gov-co intends to do. The “debt ceiling crisis” is just a little dance they have to do to make the yokels believe that the very idea of default is horrific to government; that the gov-co’s word is its bond; that gov-co is an honorable institution.


That’s all a bunch of crap, of course. But as with in an other con-game run by any other con-artist, the gov-co must instill “confidence” in the People in order to exploit them. Therefore, the gov-co must appear to be “shocked, shocked I tell you!” by the very thought of even possibly defaulting on its debts–when all the while gov-co fully intends to default big-time and rob its creditors blind.

Here’s a video that claims the government’s monthly income ($181 billion) is sufficient to pay virtually all of its current debts without borrowing more money.

I.e., gov-co claims to be on the verge of poverty, when it actually still has enough money to operate on (at least relative to the $14 trillion debt that gov-co admits to). In other words, the entire “debt ceiling crisis” may be manufactured and cynically hyped by both political parties to keep Americans entertained or frightened, but in any case, diverted from real issues like unemployment (which won’t be solved until we bail out of Global Free Trade and the New World Order, reestablish high tariffs, and restore industry and jobs to the USA) or perhaps the actual size of of the national debt which could be $75 to $200 trillion.

If the video’s allegations are correct, we can begin to ask What is the real reason for raising the debt ceiling? If the real reason is not to continue to pay for government debts already incurred, then the reason must be to allow gov-co to go even deeper into debt. Why more debt? To grow the government. More debt = even bigger “big government”. More debt = more socialism, more police state, less freedom.

The debt ceiling “crisis” may be little more than a pretext to allow government to get bigger. Insofar as both the liberal Democrats and the “conservative” Republicans appear to support that objective, both parties support socialism, collectivism and more power for the federal government.

Higher debt ceiling = bigger government.
