I have often wondered if my perception of "green" is the same as in other people. We all identify the colors but we can never know what others perceive.

Color recognition also depends on how well an individual's occipital lobe functions. If you've had a traumatic brain injury involving the occipital lobe of he brain (for example), his could affect your ability to recognize various colors.
What the hell are we fighting for? Ah, just surrender and it won't hurt at all. You just got time to say your prayers. Yeah, while you're waiting for the hammer to fall. (Brian May of Queen)
