UPDATE.

FF HAS NOT CHANGED HANDS.

Revisedcode is still in full control.

Remember I built this site, in 2000.

Linnea used to edit my posts before I ever even posted :)

LOL

Any ways, FF is a great place, I have spoken to many members, some moderators and close friends of Linnea.

FF will not be thrown to the 'wolves' RELAX.

I have 9 days before I have to make a decision.

Partly due to server fees.
I was able to get a customer loyalty discount of 20%, however My server cost is 200 per month.

This includes several web sites I host, privately for various entities.

SO what is needed most is DONATIONS.
SENT TO REVISEDCODE
aka Demian Ritter.
Please mail donations to

4612 South 170th Street Suite A1
Seatac, Washington 98188

Help me keep this site afloat, while I manage affairs.

Thank you Demian for relieving our anxiety. Are you still able to receive donations via FF/PayPal online?

R.C.

I do apologize for stepping back. Your other idea sounded like it would work, however I just can't pursue it any further due to obvious issues that I was previously unaware still existed.

I will no longer associate myself here. I have your number and may call you.

May God Bless You.

I dunno what happend CoastZone but it sounds like you feel bad about what you did and you wanna make ammends.....

The hardest thing one can do is admit they were wrong and apologise... Alot of times we dont know how hurtful our words/actions can be UNTIL ITS TOO LATE :(

Take care my friend :)

Dude, some things can't be made OK again with an apology. Sometimes things are just broken and can't be fixed no matter how sorry you may be for breaking them.

If someone does their best to destroy the ship, spread lies about its Captain all over the net, and then suddenly reappears to "help" when it is up for sale, and says they are sorry, don't you think you should question that scenario?

I have a couple of technical questions here..

I'm just curious if the sites require the current equipment at this point. does fantastic forum and all the sites you have currently require a dedicated server?

if not why keep it?

Thank you RC, and YES, I do remember. :) I had gone back to lurking for a few years now, but really never left. Your Mom was so classy, it reflected onto FF. I always found myself coming back here no matter how hard I tried to stay away. It's the best. All will be well. God Bless you and the family.

You raise a good point my friend..

Having a dedicated server is quite good because you know there is only 1 site running on that computer and as a result, the loading of the site will be quite fast :)

This is one benefit from having a dedicated computer,BUT IT COSTS ALOT IM AFRAID AND I HOPE WE CAN KEEP IT!

Also I do not know the specs of this server, but I can say that they seem very high.. however if this is only a single core or duel core or multi cpu system for this price I have to ask is it being used to the best of its ability or is it mostly sitting dead.

well I'm saying suggesting that a VPS can be cheaper, and still do the same thing.

since I host my own sites, and sell hosting, I just ask about the viability of having a server that is not being used to its full potential.
