The Texas fires are well away from us here in the middle of the state. For now anyway.
And home in Louisiana is about half way across the top of the boot along I-20, so there's little chance of the Mississippi flooding that far .... when the flood water gets that far down.
So, we're doing good on both fronts.

I have taken note that here we are in the middle of May and it's cool here. Normally it's like summer by now. Crazy weather.

I guess i dojnt understand why ppl are leaving just because Linnea cant be with us anymore.. I think it would hurt her feelings to be quite honest!

I looked @ FF2 but i personally like it here the same as I did when i found the place

I'm not. I checked my profile here and discovered my info was badly out of date. Still had my town as Round Rock, with my old non-functional e-mail addy. It's updated now.
If they want me there they'll contact me, and I'll sign up, if not, I won't. Wouldn't be the first time I was on multiple sites. But I like it here and I have no plans to jump ship. So ... I guess you good folks will just have to suffer.

Are you aware that other people cannot see your e-mail in your profile regardless of how updated it is unless you post it publicly in your profile?

Therefore nobody knows your e-mail addy. Therefore nobody could contact you, even if they wanted to.

Just wanted to say thanks for bringing the Dry Dock back up. Was quite the trip down memory lane.
