I'm here. One of the members who knows my e-mail address walked up and slapped me on the back of the head and yelled, "YO, Wake up."
As I mentioned in another thread, I took a bet on a project that is pretty big. So I've been tied up a bit making sure it's 100% right.
Put 12,000 miles on my truck in the last couple of months. 364 miles just today.

Thanks, Dale.
Interesting day today. Assembled the 35,000 volt power supply, and unpacked the antenna parts. The antenna, (nearly 4 tons) needs to be installed on a dry day for electrical reasons, and also for the safety of the workers on the tower.
I have my Canon EOS with a 400mm lens, so I hope to get interesting pictures.
We have rain here in Illinois, so no tower work today. Hopefully, tomorrow.

No, that's a big frigging antenna. When the tower crew shows up, they will take the top antenna off this tower and put the new antenna seen in the previous picture up in it's place. For perspective, the distance from leg to leg (across) is 10'. And they are doing this at 1,300' above ground.
This bad boy will be spewing a million watts if all calculations are correct. (part of the dice roll).
