Did Art ever interview Travis Walton?

Post by Sliver » 01-17-2003 08:33 PM

Did Art ever interview Travis Walton? You know the guy who the movie Fire in the Sky was based upon, workin in the woods and is abducted for 5 days and returned. Just wondering cause I just heard a brief interview with him from 1996 but it was way to short and barely touched upon anything. I know Art would ask the right questions and dig deep, anybody know if he was ever a guest??

Thanks for your time!! Image

Yes I believe he did and if I remember correctly it was one of Art's great shows. Maybe somebody can give us the date this show aired?

Art interviewed Travis Walton twice, once on Dreamland, and once on Coast. Travis said during the last intereview that he probably wasn't going to continue doing interviews much longer.

Art did bring up something interesting in his last interview with Travis. He said that abductions beginning in adulthood were highly unusual, and wondered if Travis had had previous abductions going into childhood.

Travis got uncomfortable, and said he really didn't want to discuss the subject. It affected Art, and he brought it up with several subsequent guests.

Travis was on in 1996 & 1998. I have both appearances archived in mp3 format. I'll trade for shows I don't have.

Hmm... You could email me a list of what your missing and I will check to see if I have it or can find it. I'd really like those 2 interviews so even if I don't have any shows ya need we may still be able to trade something else!?

Thanks!!

I interviewed Travis 20 yrs ago and to the best of my recollection he said nothing regarding childhood abductions.

He never brought it up, Kwint. Art brought up the subject first, and Travis just said he didn't want to talk about it...which says a lot in itself.

Here is an interview with Travis Walton from 9/4/94
Show #21
http://www.paranetinfo.com/shows1.html

I believe this interview pre-dates the one Art did with Travis. This is from an interview with Michael Corbin from 1994. Image

Would you believe it appears the vid's gone missing? I swear it was there last night!

I'll look for a suitable substitute
