This is sad news, though somewhat expected by me. I imagine recovery from a stroke by an older animal is rare - and the animal would never be the same if it did.

My heartfelt sympathies to Art, Ramona and the remaining critters.

I know how special all his of cats are to him.

Sorry to hear of your loss, Art and Ramona. I remember so well, the miraculous healing for Abby of her liver failure so long ago - but seems like only yesterday. Rest easy in knowing Abby blossomed so beautifully in your love. She was given a pass those days ago - to stay on with you for an extended time.

Now it was time for her to move on, and she has more adventures now, down the path.

I feel your sadness. I sence that you are both like my wife and I. Our cats are like extended children. When our last cat passed away, there was sadness for months. Again, you have our prayers. Be well.

PS: Just a thought, Art. What would you think about talking with the female TV reporter that was on Coast to Coast talking about talking with pets who have passed on? I can't recall her name, but I thought she was an entertaining interview.

I am so sorry Art and Ramona. I know the love, tenderness, and caring you gave Abby continues to exist. Love is a true constant.

I feel the sadness you must be feeling. My heart was broken recently by the loss of my old cat, Mars.
