My condolensces to Art. I think...we may lose Art soon too.
Art and Ramona were so close that one can see a lifeforce bond between them, they were connected in life like very few couples are and now that Ramona has passed to the otherside I feel Art is soon to follow. I sincerely hop that I am wrong and that Art has a good 10-20 years ahead of him and yet, all good things must end.

From the Coast Website:

In Memoriam:
Ramona Bell
Art Bell's beloved wife of fifteen years, Ramona, died unexpectedly last night after an asthma attack. At present, the exact cause of Mrs. Bell's death has not been determined. It apparently took place during her sleep.

Until her death, Art and Ramona Bell had not been apart a day since they were married. Mrs. Bell had suffered from asthma for years, and took her normal steps to control the attack, which occurred sometime last night in Laughlin, Nevada where the Bells were taking a brief vacation. Ramona Bell was 47 years old.

Our deepest condolences to Art and his family.

My very deepest condolences to Art on the loss of his wonderful wife, Ramona. Of course, there are very few people in the world who are better prepared than Art for the eventuality of death, which he knows to be nothing more than a temporary subjective hallucination. And yet, until he wakes someday into the light, the apparent reality of that hallucination will be very, very hard for him for bear, which makes me very sad...

Once again, my very deepest condolences to Art on the loss of Ramona.

My heartfelt condolences go out to Art and his family. Their love was strong.

We met in '98 on an Alaskan cruise. I will forever cherish her joy and laughter when we chatted about gardening. She was a delightful person and I am deeply saddened.
