We need to get back to serious matters like the alien burrito.

Dangerous to whom? Most of us don't shrink from danger easily.

Well that's the way it seems to be for whatevever reason.

Seems most of you folks are ok with that so don't worry, be happy.

Dance, rejoice, sing Kumbaya and tow the line....and eventually perhaps if you really want to talk and walk "google " will take you there.
Nuff said....been here a member too long with with good heart, karma and all else to know it doesn't mean diddly squat on this forum.
That said, I wish you all the best, love peace and all that stuff.

two things

Post by Live365 » 04-17-2006 09:14 PM

One: I was wondering when Mr. Quinn was finally going to come in with the expected eloquence. He finally did, but it was only to tell the rest of us to "get a life". Mmmm. As a return salvo, I might say that if "getting a life" means to be obsessed with a Hollywood movie for months on oblivion, I'll pass. But I know better days are coming.

Two: I got early on today that the Cap's were pi$$ed. Threads locked, threads deleted, then the entire Ship goes down. When I returned to this incredible place last September, I had three rules for myself. One of them was to never disrespect the Captains of this Ship. The two others were: thou shalt not flame, and thou shalt not allow thyseld to be flamed.

I am sorry, if I violated any of those rules. It was a cathartic weekend. But we have been sent the message that it's over now. I will abide. And I know these Pirates of high intelligence (in alpha: A_BC, Dot, HB3, MW, Tiff, to leave out a Great Many) see it too.

btw, what's going on with immigration? :D

well I am sorry but I don't get it! I feel somewhat responsible having started the damn thread but I am not sure what it is that is wrong with it. And.....it would have been nice if someone would have said something about why it was closed!

There is all the difference in the world between viewing a superb work of art leisurely over several months and from all angles and pruriently speculating and gossiping, ad nauseam, instanteously about another person's private life. The one is precisely what I mean when I spoke of "getting a life" outside of oneself, and the other --- well, it's what I said it was...

Aww jeez... you've kinda painted me into a corner here now... nicely done :)

Nah, I'm mostly tapped out anyway.

Although, I do have to note that I just saw a thread saying that Drudge is now reporting about it. That's one of my issues, that now forevermore, when I talk to anyone about C2C or anything even remotely paranormal, guess what's going to be thrown in my face? Yeah. The whole field gets to absorb this blow, no matter what people would like to think.

and mourning the loss of a flesh-and-blood man you deeply believed in.

Yes, Mr. Quinn. That would be one way to spin it.

P.S. I had to look at yer post to see how to spell "leisurely", since I edited you. :D

Waiting for the better days.

No I didn't Dot. Quit that.

Yeah, I'm still trying to download the link. Matt Drudge has always been a fan of Art (would it interest Mr. Quinn to know that he is an openly gay male??), and though I waited all day, it doesn't suprise me that it's finally up there.

We'll get through it , Dotcosm. I know you agree that things have a tendency to...equilibriate. :) (my God, spelling??:D :D ).

But you see my meaning. This will *equilibriate* too. You know that.
