Art doing a Coast to Coast next Friday!
Moderator: Super Moderators
Before he signed off tonight, George Noory, said he had a surprise for the "Coast to Coast AM" listeners that he would reveal next week. He said he could not tell what it is before next week but said the show's fans would "love it". This must be confirmation of what we all hope for that Art will indeed host the show again on Friday, April 18th.

I still feel wierd about this. I just can't imagine Art and PremRad getting together, but I suppose there are some offers that simply cannot be refused. Anyway, I'm trying to maintain a reasonable level of excitement without getting drooly.
Glad you like it too, Racehorse. I knew you weren't George.:p

Just checked the C2C site and next Fridays info is NOT posted yet. They've posted up to next Thursday. I guess they still haven't confirmed Art's guest spot yet. Keeping my fingers x'ed. BTW, noticed that Michio Kaku is going to be on next week. He was always one of my favorite guests so I'll have to take a listen to how George interviews him.
Art will definitely be on the radio on 4/18
This whole thing makes a lot of sense. C2C gets to perpetuate the myth that Art likes and fully supports George. The theory being if you like Art and Art likes George people will like George. Art's appearance is also good for ART. 2 years is a very long time to be off the radio. The public's memory is very short. Doing a show or two every now and then keeps Art Bell in the minds of the average fans...the kind that listen to the program every so often but are not fanatics. Keeping Art's name in listeners minds will make it all the easier for Art to start his own radio program when his non compete clause has expired. I'm sure his appearance will have nothing to do with the time frame of his non compete clause. It won't shorten nor lengthen it. Art will still have to complain about his back alittle since that is the loophole he used to retire.
