Paranormal investigator and author Joshua P. Warren discussed his latest work on non-human apparitions, including inanimate objects (ghost ships), aliens and pet spirits. He said reports of "phantimals," or animal ghosts, are extremely common. They usually return for a short time, Warren noted, pointing out that pet spirits can often look just as physical as living creatures.

Art interview with Bill McDonald from 11-07-04

Artist and researcher Bill McDonald returned to the show to share his analysis of alien craft. In his documenting of the Roswell incident,he said he created his illustrations based on interviews with 248 reliable witnesses. Describing the Roswell craft as a delta-shaped "metal crystalline" vehicle that was grown in layers, he stated it was capable of morphing under different conditions.

Author Zeph Daniel, a Satanic Abuse survivor, returned to the show, sharing his unusual life experiences as well as detailing the nature of alien and demonic interactions. The purpose behind Satanic Ritual Abuse is to "dislodge the soul" from a child, so that a demonic entity can enter and grow up in that person, he explained.

Research scientist Dr. Colm Kelleher, from the National Institute of Discovery Science (NIDS), discussed the enigmatic Black Triangle phenomenon. Sightings of Black Triangles go back to the 1980s, though a dramatic increase began in 1998. NIDS has recorded as many as 500 encounters.

Art Bell was joined by author Matt Savinar, outlined a bleak future as we have reached the stage of "Peak Oil," in which worldwide oil production will begin to decline due to diminished reserves. In the years ahead, this will plunge us into a "meltdown of the modern economy," he believes, where oil could cost as much as $182 a barrel or $7.00 a gallon. Eventually, he predicts civilization will be thrust back into the stone age, and the plentitude of fossil fuel will be seen as a "blip in history."

Founding publisher of Skeptic Magazine, Dr. Michael Shermer, shared his viewpoint as to why he doesn't believe in paranormal phenomena and many extraordinary claims. He also commented on the emerging field of quantum science, suggesting that it is not connected with the thought process because quantum effects are happening at a subatomic level and the mental process occurs on a molecular level.

Art Bell's interview from 10-23-05 with Nick Begich and Mark Sudduth

The topic was Project HAARP when Art Bell returned for a conversation with Dr. Nick Begich. A long time researcher on the antenna array in Alaska which interacts with the ionosphere, Begich reported that HAARP's array has quadrupled in size in the last two years. He also revealed that the Dept. of Defense's DARPA had now taken over the program.

It's unfortunate that such technology is in the hands of the military, he commented, as some beneficial applications haven't been explored such as creating chemical reactions to reduce pollutants and adding ozone to the atmosphere. Begich believes that weather manipulation technology exists, and there is "a lot of salivation [over it] in military circles." However he doesn't find it likely that HAARP had the power to create a storm as huge as Katrina, though it might have been used to affect the storm in different ways.
