Wonderful program Sunday night! Was wondering if anyone on this forum goes to these conferences? Wisconsin is a close one for me to attend, but I won't be able to go to this one. My car smokes too much and I'm afraid to drive it that far! When a better vehicle comes into my life I'd like to attend. The Ancient of Days Conference 2004 looks interesting too. http://www.ancientofdays.net/

God, Man & ET Conference Impressions
Quik 'n Dirty Report by Yours Truly

Rating: 3.4 of 4 stars
General impression: Positive. A worthwhile way to spend a Saturday.

220 attended from all around the hemisphere. Mention was made that the
response was so heartening that hopes are to have more such conferences
on the topic.

Biggest 'news' out of the conference, according to RCH himself, is that he's
going to have some Germans with real good cameras take more pictures of
the face. So stay tuned.

IMHO -

Most positive aspects: Was within an hour or so driving distance. Also, for
the $25 lunch & dinner were also included. For the most part, well organized
and intriguing. Oh yeah, it was nice to see these guys in person.

Most negative aspects: Started 50 minutes late due to audio problems - tied
with panel discussion after dinner.

"Most Entertaining" Award goes to RCH
"Most in Need of Improving His Presentation" Award goes to David Flynn
"Most in Need of Overcoming His Smugness" Award goes to Hugh Ross
"Who I'd Most Like to Know Personally" Award goes to Paul Nelson
"Making a Point without PowerPoint" Award goes to Michael Heiser

The panel discussion was mostly RCH & the adamant Dr. Ross locking horns
about physics. Left half-way through, & went to Hooters to watch the end
of the Yankees-Marlins game.

Best Meal: Lunch (chicken sandwich & pasta salad)
Runner-up: Dinner (spaghetti, garlic bread)
Best after-conference nosh: Hooters wings

Thanks for your interesting report, Riddick. I would have loved to have seen Richard C. Hoagland in debate against the close minded Hugh Ross. I am sure that Ross did not fare very well.

I'd be surprised if David Flynn could even talk. His interview on C2C sounded like he was loosing his voice then.

Poor Hugh Ross probably couldn't get a word in edgewise with R.C. Hoagland!

Watching the ballgame at Hooters just topped off your day! Sounds like you had a "nice" time and were well fed.

Oddly enough, Dr. Ross did a surprisingly good job of holding up against RCH -
and holding up the discussion, IMHO

- enough for me to not hold out, and
head out early.

Hey, when a certain immovable body digs into the ground, and doesn't give an
inch to an irresistable force, things really don't move much in one direction or
another. (Must be one of those immutable laws of physics in action ... or
should I say, inaction?

)

What do I suggest? Whatever you can afford. Use your best judgment.

Really, just from my perspective, short of being there? See if they don't make a
