So glad to hear from you. All of us have missed you so much. When are you coming back to radio? Hope it's soon. Hope you do get to visit the U.S. soon, too. Know you are happy with your family and location, but don't forget where home is. Your "other" family misses you very much, Art.

I haven't checked in for a while so it was a really wonderful surprise to hear from you Art. Asia is a true beauty. Count me in as someone who would pay to hear from you again. Without you, it truly is a "vast wasteland" on the radio.

It has been some time since I posted here. All the ABs are
well, both types.....those with and those without fur. Asia
could not be better, she is nearly four Years old and smart
as a tack, she has been in pre-school now for a Year and is
doing so well it is scary.

At this point my baby is just starting out in life but I fully
understand that one day my baby will get older and make
her own way in the World, no doubt doing things I do not
agree with or sanction in any way. That is life, babies never
stay babies as much as we would like them to, they grow
and find their own way and even if we do not like the path
they have chosen we have to get out of the way and let
them make their own mistakes, much as it may hurt to watch.
All we can really do is our very best in trying to point them
in the right direction and hope. It does not always work out
as we had dreamed and at the right time we have to let go.

We may return to the U.S. at some point for a visit or more,
who knows. Never say never right? I must say I am not sorry
to have missed the great Recession? the economy here is just
fine with GDP in the 7% range, we have a new President who
seems to be doing a great job and with Asia in school and so
many friends it is hard to consider a move, as most of you know
I love the Desert, it is majestic and very private but not the best
environment for a four Year old.

Ham radio is at last getting an assist from the Sun in a big way
with flares going on like crazy. My Ham call letters here are
4F1AB and I am mostly on 20 and 15 Meters talking to the
rest of the World.

I will try to post more frequently and keep you all up on the
latest from the Bell clan. I will always consider you all as
part of my Family.

Well, your post just made my night!
I'm a few weeks behind the times, but nothing could have made me happier this night, besides maybe hearing your voice on KOGO' open lines Friday...
I've missed you!

I have been wondering what you were up to, since your not easy for me to find anymore. So good to see you still think of us here, and dropped a note telling us all is well... Thank Goodness!

Since your not on Coast any more, expect for Sat. nights- Somewhere in Time' and that sometimes gets pre empted by sports, which I hate when that happens... I think to myself...
"I'm still waiting for the times to get better'...

Any chance? Of getting back on track?
You know the one. The one where you drove that train down the tracks of time. The midnight special' :-)
What a thrilling ride it was!

After reading your lastest post here and all the replies, just wondered if you ever read them.

We love and miss you, as you well know.

Btw' It's "Sharp as a tack" As tacks, by themselves aren't too smart.. Except when one might sit on one.. And that does smart. ;)

Yes, your baby girl will be above the crowd in intelligence. She already has the looks, too.. What a cutie.

Yes, the Gemini kid with all the talent one could hope for...
What a blessing.. And yes, Daddy, she will go her own way, but not to worry.

By the way- What's wrong with raising a child in the desert?
The High Desert?
One huge sandbox, right?
Funny, some of my family just moved to Pahrump a year ago. They love it.
The snow capped mountians, after a winter storm. The desert flowers in spring.
Oh, and those summer nights with a huge amount of stars over head... (Some moving rather fast, too) hehee'

What more?

Well, it's after 3 am... My radio is off...
And so am I.

Good night, my friend, good night....
Fades to the music of .... 'Midnight in the Desert' only to dream of...

Great to hear from Art! I was more excited reading that post than I have been listening to any Noory Coast to Coast show in the past five years.

From Art

Hi there,

We are not glowing here, more radiation is on the way to North America than here so all is well.

There may be a change in the works, more on that as it unfolds

The Bells are all well and Asia finished her first year of school
today with a show put on by the school.
