Best Art Bell Show
I wanted to respond to "Dude's" thread, but I'm on dial-up (rural Idaho) and his thread takes too long to load for me!
Best Art show ever?! "Mel's Hole"! Lordy, that man knows how to tell a story, and Art was smart enough to keep his mouth shut and just let Mel talk. The show is available all over the "net", just Google it, you won't regret it!

Ya the embedded youtube clips bog down my browser also (And the more vids there on a thread the worse it is) the best thing to do is DISABLE SCRIPTS,the vids wont load then (ON THIS SITE (ITS NOT THAT EASY ON MOST SITES THAT ALLOW EMBEDDED FLASH (You have to disable ACTIVE-X OR FLASH on those! (And with most browsers you cant do that! (I can with MyIE2 though )))))
I usually always have scripts disabled ON EVERY SITE unless i need them.... (Faster loading, etc)
Good luck!

On a dial-up you really need to be blocking flash. I have fairly fast dsl and I use the Flashblock extension for Firefox.
Chrome has flash blocker too. http://www.chromeextensions.org/appeara ... lashblock/ -
As does IE:
It's built in IE 9
as well as IE 8 - http://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/75493 ... x-control/
All these block Flash from loading when the page loads then you click a little button to load only the Flash you want. You can whitelist whole sites too. Or turn it off altogether. A real must have for dinosaur PCs or dialup. Flash is very demanding on your processor as well as your bandwidth.
Hope this helps.

Was that the fellow from Kentucky?
Our TV station received a call from a guy who wanted to buy our old HV transformers to build a time machine. He was dead serious.
