This thread was started to share a site about RECIPES!!! For God's sake, Div, everyone -- get a grip!! LOL!! Y'all are going nuts, TOTALLY off topic!! Who's moderating this area, anyway??

Oh, hey Linda -- thanks for the URL. Good one (meat 'n all).

It was? Well then, here's a personal favorite:

"Quarter" Baked Salmon Fillet

1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup water
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

Heat honey and brown sugar until combined, add water and soy sauce. Bring to boil, remove from heat. Add pepper flakes and let cool.

Marinate salmon in this mixture. Bake at 325* until salmon fillet is firm to the touch.

This is a great recipe for vegetarians, apricots may sound strange, but it is delicious. If you are not vegetarian you can also add chicken.

1/4 lb.onions, finely chopped
3 cups of water
1 1/2 cups of potatoes, peeled and diced
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper

Fry salt pork in a large saucepan until browned. Pour off all but 2 tablespoons of fat and saute onions in it on low heat.

Add water, potatoes and clam juice, cover pot and simmer for 20 minutes.

And on Hato El Cedral, a capybara roams free, until dinner time rolls around I suppose.
