Badspell/CK you should check out Granny's Seeds. They are in Missouri and the stuff I have ordered from them before have germinated well and given me good yield.

Yes I have some of the heirloom seeds from MO outfit and have had good luck with them as far as germination.

The only problem I have had with any of the heirloom seeds is that they are not as protected from wilt and certain bugs (that are found in some soil areas).

Granny's seeds. Hmmm that catalog has never showed up in my mailbox. I’ll look into it.

Now that I no longer travel. I am experimenting with saving seeds from the previous years superior or healthiest plants. I’m hoping the resistance to bugs and diseases will be inherited. Once my four season greenhouse is built I plan to clone.
I have two tomato plants 20” tall growing in the window with the help of a light. A little spindly, but very healthy.
All hear few listen

First pepper seeds are starting to show up - grow. Only about half a dozen so far, but am hoping by the end of the week that there will be more....

Next will be to start tomatoes.
