Baking Goat Cookies

This morning's chore:D
Anyone (IronsGold?) bake for their goats? My girls LOVE these. I just have to go anywhere near the pasture or barn and yell "Who wants a cookie?" and they come running.

Goat Cookies

Ingredients:
1 cup uncooked oatmeal
2 cups raisin bran type cereal (crushed)
1 cup raw wheat germ
4 large shredded carrots
1 cup molasses
1/2 cup applesauce

Preparation:
Combine molasses and applesauce in a bowl.
Combine dry ingredients (carrots would be included as "dry")in a large mixing bowl. Gradually add molasses/applsauce to obtain a thick dough. Add more cereal or wheat germ if thicker dough is needed.
Shape into desired size balls (I do about the size of a jack ball) and place on greased baking sheet.
Bake at 300 degrees until dried out and done (about 30 minutes). You have to watch though, they burn easily.

Anything whole grain.
I love to bake.. I love to experiment. The chickens love it when things go wrong.
