I don't know if I was off focus while driving in the late/early hours but I swore I heard a Coast guest mention Plantain to George Noory. He pronounced it "plant chE an".
One common name is Jewel Weed. If you live off the grid even a little bit and try your best to let Mum Nature return her many f(l)avors to you for the taking. You'd call this weed a jewel too!
Whatever you do don't kill it or call it a weed. The definition of a weed is, "Any plant growing out of place". Or maybe this medicinal freebee is growing all over your place! That's your smiling face once you see this.
Enjoy the read that Native American's and early pioneers knew about for centuries.

Also being higher than spinach in vitamin C use dandelion (hint of bitter) leaves in salads, also it's roots raw or dried, yellow flowers fried and stems in salads are all edible too!
Be mindful where you've sprayed 'dem damn weeds last week as you might be eating them today!
