We have quite a number of inactive members, some with good reason, some quien sabe? Let's get crunching. I left sometime ago and went to another team, due to the seeming lack of interest . I decided it is my pirately duty to come back to FFST and try to stir some interest.

just stop it and delete it. I had a heck of a time getting commandline going again...back in Dec when I got fed up with MSN, I decided I would just stop crunching period, since it was going to change in the near future. I deleted all my s@h files and had to figure out how to download and reinstall everything again. I finally got it Sunday. I'm computer challenged anyway, so it was a Jack Daniels moment!!! If you want, I'll e-mail you the instructions I have.
Linnea, with all you and RC have going on with your PCs, it is understandable that you are not running S@H now, and I know rapa was very ill, so she and sufi are excused, FairBecca moved and had a lot on her plate, but don't know why others aren't crunching anymore. I don't want to go to a big team like TAB, so I hope we can get some new members and get inactive members going again. I will try to be more active here in this thread.
Lrs, thanks for prodding me back into activity.<font face="Verdana, Arial" size="2">Originally posted by lrs:

Hope you'll look around the team seti@home page at http://www.fantasticforum.com/seti_team/seti.html and decide to join us. There is also a lot of good stuff to link on from http://www.setiathome.ssl.berkeley.edu
And, btw, welcome aboard. I have enjoyed your posts.

Would love to get some of the new FF members crunching for our team...check out the two links above. If I can be of any help, let me know. I don't post at night, so will check back in the morning.<font face="Verdana, Arial" size="2">Originally posted by Gwen:

God...I would LOVE to be a part of this!!!!! But my background is in microbiology (tho I'm FAIRLY good at math). I'd much rather just watch the TEAM in action. God bless you guys.<font face="Verdana, Arial" size="2">Originally posted by Gwen:

G'night.
Well I'll be a sunuvagun!! There is life here!!! I gotta report this!
Thanks for the welcomes - and thanks for arising from your snoozes... I kinda thought I was talkin to myself for a while there.
I am running the screensaver ver. due to the fact I was unsure about the command line proggie, and I had no one to ask. This one seems to be running fine though. I have it running at all times, not just when the screensaver is active. Hasn't slowed anything down noticeably. However, if it is more prudent, (processor-wise, speed-wise, etc.), I would be willing to go for the command line ver. - I'd need some instruction though...
Glad to see this place liven up!
