Is It True That A Huge Number Of American's Die In Hospitals Due To Mistakes?!

Post by Malaria_Kidd II » 12-01-2018 10:45 PM

And that number is 250K who die annually after being admitted to our nation's hospitals! But wait! Don't forget to sign all the papers at the Admitting Regi$tration De$k!

Well! Here's just one case from 2017 to date never in the US news outlets I've listened to!

Stale News Flash: Vanderbilt University Hospital, of Nashville, Tennessee!

Yep! That's in America and it's a sadly consistent good health curse we can't continue to live with!

 Why was the drug Vecuronium EVER PLACED inside that building! There's not one word here about that fact!

Stay healthy everyone because that $10,000 per night single occupancy hospital room, can in "some too many cases" of SNAFU, take your good health away. If the patient's room floors and walls are high tech, photo copied, thick vinyl, as fake wild cherry wood and you can read a newspaper looking through the toilet paper; beware of that cheap shot damned quick!

The Affordable? Heath Care Act never mentions the over priced everything in those continually building on more additions hospitals nationwide!

:hearteyes :-D :reader: You gotta believe straight talkin' George Carlin folks! Thanks Riddick!

Decrease your chances of using your in$urance for (found very dangerous to human health at "bad luck" times) ho$pitalization right here on Dark Page 2!

Got copper? Got selenium? Got magnesium? Got calcium? Got chromium? Got vanadium? Got chollesterol? Got vitamins A though E and the essential amino and fatty acids? Because you won't get any of them in a ho$pital via Big Pharma's pills or enough of them all in your 3 bedside :raspberry meals!

Of course it's true. People screw-up every second of every day.

What Americans seem to think is that people who work in healthcare are somehow infallible and, and ergo, CANNOT make mistakes.

That line of thinking is a mistake in and of itself.

People make mistakes and screw-up royally. Technology, which is supposed to make healthcare "better", fails (especially during power outages.....). All that data healthcare organizations (and insurers!!!!) gets hacked. Drugs with very similar-sounding names gets administered to patients who die as a result. Nurses graduating from school nowadays know more about data entry than actually caring for patients. A lot of the time spent by the nurses in my dept is spent going to the inpatient units to start IVs because the new generation of nurses with all kinds of letters after their names can't perform basic Nursing skills (or refuse to because "It's not at the top of their license )

My former boss was kicked to the curb by HER boss because she witnessed a doctor leave the hospital during a case, while the patient was still under anesthesia, to get something he needed from his office. Per policy, she should have reported this (and she did) and in doing so, she got screwed big time and was forced to leave, despite a non-retribution policy.

The healthcare system in this country is so messed-up....... A nearby hospital once removed a patient's healthy kidney and then the doc had to explain the situation to the patient and his family before going in to remove the diseased organ.

I cringe whenever a family member goes in to the hospital...........

When I was typing out the OP, I was counting on Riddick and kbot's contributions. Now we can bet ears were heating past 98 degrees in health care facilities nationwide!I

Thank you kbot for your first hand, insiders truths! To error is being human in all jobs when mistakes on duty make misery or worse outcomes to paying customers. :(

Let us travel again to Dark Page 2 for Riddick's OP that states women doctors loose less patients in hospitals!

Link to page 2 was removed since this thread is back on Light Page 1! :)
