This sounds bad, daboodaddy. Thanks for the information and warning. Wish I could get the h*ll out of Dodge for the month of April. Hmmmmm? Will pass this warning along to everyone I know here in Seattle.

Linnea, and all "Seattleites", Anything of this nature usually has a warning for people with asthma.
I hope you extend this warning to include the elderly, and people with compromised immune systems.

Thanks for the concern Daboodaddy. I heard this on KING-TV and checked it out for myself. By the time this cloud gets here, it should be greatly dispersed and not much of a threat. This isnt the first time we've had to deal with this type of thing. Fortunetly, in this part of the country, we have daily prevailing winds that aid in moving these little "problems" along. However, the idea that some of this could be a problem for some, is still worth watching. Lets just hope those offshore winds do their job! (With all the rain we get here, it is concievable that it could rain mud...) Good info on your link Daboo. Thanks very much.

I think this is related to this subject, as I have just read that this huge "Dust Cloud" from China has disipated, and NOAA is no longer tracking it. The news was not clear, (it came from a local newspaper), how the cloud disipated. All they said was in the past such "Huge Dust Storms" have been responsible for redish sunsets, and nothing about what I have read here.
