Well blow me down!

Post by starrmtn001 » 04-28-2010 02:52 PM

Hey . . . there . . . Pirates Pals . . .
gettin' pretty . . . wind battered here . . .
in S.W. Colorado.

. . . 70% T. storms . . . tonight . . . and
50% SNOW . . . for . . . tomorrow . . .
then 20% . . . to 30% snow . . . to
Sun . . . night (hang on, wanna . . . get out of . . . THIS WIND LOL).

Shiver me timbers. It ain't no maelstrom but it's damn close.

Be safe Midwestern, Southeastern, and Eastern Pirates. I think Madame Weather is just ramping up here, and getting ready to blast Her way east. You are in my prayers.

We've had some high winds in L.A. today; it blew over one of our trees. No one was hurt; no property was damaged. But the clean-up will cost us $750 tomorrow.

Yikes! I'm so sorry Bobbi. I'm glad no one was hurt. Keep a weather eye to the west matey.

This morning I awoke to heavy snow and almost zero visibility. I was out taking pictures of this mini-blizzard when my camera battery died. I'll post some pics later after my battery is recharged.

We had some weird weather yesterday, too. Wind, rain, and HAIL. A LOT of hail. It hailed for about 10 minutes straight here, and piled up at least an inch thick. Looked like it had snowed!

Are you on the West Coast? The Plain States?

Midwesterners should keep their NOAA Weather Radio on. There is some mighty powerful stuff brewing for Friday. :(

Yes, the nasty stuff we had yesterday (and the day before) is headed your way. It was cold last night, too, so it was followed by a cold blast. Be careful out there...
