It's that time of year again,
for things to get
HOT HOT HOT!!

So, just how hot will it get?

Would you believe
90 DEGREE AVERAGE INLAND HIGHS
with the heat index in the
Neighborhood OF 100

for the next 2 weeks in SE Wisconsin?
Accuweather Extended Forecast

But, WAIT - There's MORE!
Would you believe
An Exceptionally
HUGE AREA OF ABOVE AVERAGE HEAT
across the eastern 2 thirds of the US with

North Central and Lower Northeast States
especially expected to swelter--?

current temps here already 92°F and going up to 98-99 today and up to 100 by Tues -- not counting the "feels like" ---

Down in OK they had 20 days in 100s (not sure if that was actual or feels like) and in parts of KS, and MO...

several states still under heat warnings --- not good for field crops!

I got bored and capped my weather calendar from weatherunderground.com and added some orange and red suns on the days it was 95 degrees and over and 100 and over, respectavely. The 7 day forecast calls for more near 100 degree days with no end in sight. This is a very humid area too, so that adds to the discomfort. I'd not survive with no ac..lived here most of my adult life but a move would be nice. Not a real option now tho.

Yeah, I know, a link would have been easier. :)
Oh! Should have put it on the graphic but I'm in Springfield, Missouri.

70 days over 100 degrees here in Central Texas. We just set a record for the hottest summer on record. :(
