Maine Earthquake

Post by kbot » 10-16-2012 06:44 PM

Maine just reported its second 4-plus magnitude earthquake in less than 24 hours. My wife and I just felt the second quake only a few moments ago. I know that a 4.5 quake by some standards is mild, but for New England this is weird.........

Yeah we're all fine here. It's on the tv news now because this is relatively uncommon up here. According to the Boston channels it's been felt over in upstate New York as well.........

Narragansett Bay, literally a long stone's throw from my house, is loaded with fault lines, but the area is fairly stable. Even so, we get relatively small quakes around here. Two in less than 24 hours is strange.....

Doesn't seem to have been any major structural damage anywhere in New England as far as I can tell.

Can't speak about the HAARP aspect though......
