Friday was a wonderful weather day with temps topping out in the mid 70s... right now it's 54 with a forecast low of 51.... Saturday looks to be another cooler than normal yet more than decent day before the heat of summer returns

Nice there's no AC needed (aside leaving the windows open just a bit)

Looks like the "Big Heat" is going to the middle of the country, for awhile. We are playing with the hi 80s°

The thing, that I find kinda Wierd is not the heat, it's summer after all, it is the 30 to 40 degree drop in temp, sometimes, with-in short hours and no storm.

Fun fact: here we're only a few days into our 18 day mid-summer stretch of average high 82, low 61 every day 'til the 23rd... clearly some while yet before the tendency to perspire expires, but there's ways to cope -

Here right now it's 70° with 95% humidity. More or less seasonable forecast highs in the low to mid 80°s with off and on showers and storms these next three days -

Otherwise it's been on the dry side. Doesn't bother me none. I am no fan of lawn cutting. Last thing I'd do is water it. Unless it WAS on fire!!

Less like midsummer, it felt more like early Autumn this morning here in SE WI, that's a fact and I can attest to that... ON THE OTHER HAND? Y'know how the MSM likes to hype 'heat wave' weather as good as incontrovertible proof global warming is going to kill us all

But insofar a forecast like today has no place in promoting that narrative, it's largely ignored...

So mostly US highs are expected at or below normal? Move along, nothing to see here, folks...

But be sure to tune in again later: Our regularly scheduled narrative has only been temporarily interrupted, once the weather shifts back in its favor Global Warming hype will resume as soon as possible

Sure Hot here, going to be 105° Monday, that's just a degree or 2 above what it has been. We have been haveing powerless moments, just enough to have to reset clocks. Now that ! Would bother me to lose the AC! :vultures:

Midsummer 100s aren't the norm where you're at are they, Doka?

It's a fact triple-digit averages AIN'T my idea of a July high ideal

It is not unusual for it to be hot, your right it's summer after all. What is a bit different, is no whopping thunderstorms to break it up a bit. It seems strange not to have had any summer storms......yet.

Strange it is, yet you're not in panic. Is it 'cause you "get" the fact like it always has weather changes, just like climate changes??

You know it's summer, I know it's summer, but for some people there's only one season now, and that's 'freak out' season - Anything out of the ordinary methodologically has them hyperventilating, OUTSIDE events that counter the GW CC narrative. Those they just ignore or chalk up to 'denier' heresy...

Meanwhile, it's another cooler than average summer day here in SE WI and across much of the US middle. Nice as it is, there's nothing more frustrating for the faithful than fact showing up their fiction. Minds made up, when such heresy happens the true believers will simply wait it out and live to panic another day.
