At that rate, if not for the long-term contracting they could just send Noory packing and run Somewhere In Time replays every night.kbot wrote: I can appreciate the sentiment. I'm sure that a lot of people feel "why bother"? The topics aren't the same and neither in the intensity and passion that art used to bring. Indeed, if only Premrad was all of a sudden put in a position to have need of Knapp's services on a more frequent basis - Like, after a rapid onset of debilitating back pain or serious streaming issues, Noory found cause to quit -
Early retirement(s) may be the most regrettable Art feature that Georgie's never picked up on and run with, eh?

Sorry I am absent so much these days, getting ready for vacation and work is cracking the whip big time, plus festivals every weekend, nice sunny days... I am keeping an eye out, but just don't have the time I need. Come September I'll be around much more.
The heartbreaking necessity of lying about reality and the heartbreaking impossibility of lying about it.

Re: Riddick's mention of my "major flurry"! You ain't seen nothin' yet!
Riddick wrote:Well, outside of racehorse and Swerdloc submissions day to day keeping things from going totally belly up, would you believe in fact Malaria_Kidd's been busy there lately? A major flurry of postings came from his way just today - In fact, for some time now, Imaginative Worlds looks to be ahead of FF2 in the race to achieve room temperature.kbot wrote: Just amused at the fairly long list of groups out that that Noory acknowledged. Didn't recognize most - except for FF2. And from what I've seen it's a graveyard over there.
Activity-wise I'd say we're relatively well off, though is it only me or does our summer lull look like one for the books?
Riddick,
Thanks for the fact that I HAD been busy dusting things at FF2 - R.I.P.. I'm a view watcher as I keep tabs on paper from one week to the next. One of my true stories in the UK, lost somewhere here and inside Joshua P. Warren's "It Was A Dark and Creepy Night" on p 180 manages to get 200 views every 10 days in England,........year around! But the four I watch, today counting FF too, 95% of alternate news forums are very dust filled. FF2 was a whole lot less than I expected and it kept going off line just like now for over a month. So I was a view counter there mostly! The site was bound to be overwhelmed some day with spam. Due to the membership being out of control with thousands of new handles you could not pronounce!

Hey MKII. LOVED REO Speedwagon - got to see them twice in the Midwest just as they were starting to peak nationally - before going commercial. Yeah, we all seem to be peaking and dipping. Haven't figured out yet if it's a function of age or other daily interests intruding........
There you go man, keep as cool as you can. Face piles and piles of trials with smiles. It riles them to believe that you perceive the web they weave. And keep on thinking free. (Moody Blues)

I've never heard of a rock band or any popular stage band going commercial. That must be like having sponsors to help sell products. To your last line it must be both conditions making us more watchful every day. The planet spins, peaks and dips at 1,500 miles per hour + or - some mph unknown, and it speeds away with our Milky Way Galaxy through dark space at 67,000 mph + or - some unknown mph. I'm happy to be a live rider kbot! Maybe we've all been going a bit too fast!

Mornin' to an online kbot,
Art and Whitley too I think, penned a great name for what's happen'in with our time. Which is one hell-uv-a song from Floyd's iconic - The Dark Side of the Moon album from 1973. Hmm "73" seems almost like yesterday sometimes.

Re: 8-1-Coast Shout out to FF2
kbot, I've been editing on this quiet Sunday evening!
That may take some effort, but 80% of the De Ville's printable list of synchros are well worth catching. Good luck We bought the CD from that site with many more rock albums syncing to well known H-wood movies. On You Tube some months back you could watch the movie and listen to DSOTM. Lately all Wizard of Oz - DSOTM entries have been YT silenced into a "still movie"!
Find that list here somewhere hidden on a side bar.
http://www.syncmovies.com
Here are all 142 syncs to inspire your wife to watch the show to all Pink Floyd.
