Noory Promises to "Unleash Hell"

Post by kbot » 06-12-2015 05:59 AM

No, not in a Noory vs. Art showdown, but in a move to mobilize Coast listeners to try and budge Congress on protecting the country from an EMP attack.

A bill has been stuck in the Congress for years now that, if enacted, would go a long way to protecting the country's electronic infrastructure from an EMP attack.

If you haven't had the opportunity to listen to the show the other night, do so. It was a four-hour long show dedicated to the issues and pressuring Congress to DO SOMETHING.

George is asking for people to contact their members of Congress, and he has started naming the names of the members of Congress who have been holding up progress - starting with Michigan Rep Fred Upton.

Show specifics:

With all the hacks from foreign entities, it makes you wonder.......

I hope this works. Gotta give George kudos on this one.

Unleashing hell in order to prevent EMP attacks sounds like it could backfire.
For if it profit, none dare call it Treason.

The Devil you say! :D ;)

Back in the '80s Ford Motor contracted a Milwaukee engineering systems group I worked in to do electromagnetic analyses. One of the chief Ford fellas was VERY much concerned about EMP and wanted to harden cars against it.

As it was, most of his collegues though he was some kind of a nut. Insofar I could tell in many regards he was. Didn't mean he was wrong to be concerned about EMP.

I think the idea of putting pressure on Congress would be a good thing here - no valid reason for not doing this......

Repubs were elected in a land slide last fall. How much more pressure can you put on politicians.

It didn't make any difference!

The idea that a bill can be stopped cold in Congress by one individual (who can remain anonymous, btw) is the very definition of insanity. And, that's what's happened here. There is a bill that addresses the hardening of the nation's power grid and this has been held-up in committee
