Some have refused the ban on telling the public if the contents of their product is GMO or not. I head for the non-GMO product at the grocery store! But, it does require some reading on the part of the Consumer. My sister gave me a bag of corn chips, with "contains GMOs" in fine print on the bag, but it Was there. Since ALL CORN, is GMO, you can't help but get into it one way or another, corn syrup, is in just about every processed food and drink there is.

As far as "Organic" , that just means it was raised with NO pesticides, seed used is another thing, totally different! The information out there, can be very illusive and misleading at its worst.

Thank you Doka for that spot on information and warning straight from the grocer if your a newbie to reading labels :!:

As a reminder the only paranormal part of this topic is found in the OP and all the posts below it are just abnormal! :realmad:

It's seems Monsanto's employee hired solely as it's very busy ghost writer is doing everything but driving the farmer's pickups, tractors and combines!

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles ... ty-reviews

Monsanto Co. started an agricultural revolution with its “Roundup Ready” seeds, genetically modified to resist the effects of its blockbuster herbicide called Roundup. That ability to kill weeds while leaving desirable crops intact helped the company turn Roundup’s active ingredient, the chemical glyphosate, into one of the world’s most-used crop chemicals. When that heavy use raised health concerns, Monsanto noted that the herbicide’s safety had repeatedly been vetted by outsiders. But now there’s new evidence that Monsanto’s claims of rigorous scientific review are suspect :!: :?:

Is it possible that the abnormal human health claims against this agri-chemical corporation could get more serious?

The Ode to Monsanto CEO Hugh Grant

With 8 views to date this new anti GMO video was uploaded at You Tube in March of 2017. :?

 At least I did not go as far to include the present CEO's name in the OP. Any CEO's name from the past, present and future spreads the blame equally.

:fortune: So I'll note it again, found in the OP, dedicated to Gary Patterson, it's 1994 vs 1996 :!:

Matt Drudge news today on "M" :!:

New York Times :!:

Farmers planted a new kind of seed on 25 million acres of soybean and cotton fields this year. Developed by Monsanto, the seeds, genetically modified to be resistant to a weed killer called dicamba, are one of the biggest product releases in the company’s history.

But the seeds and the weed killer have turned some farmers — often customers of Monsanto, which sells both — against the company and alarmed regulators.

Farmers who have not bought the expensive new seeds, which started to appear last year, are joining lawsuits, claiming that their crops have been damaged by dicamba that drifted onto their farms. Arkansas announced a 120-day ban of the weed killer this summer, and it is considering barring its use next year after mid-April. Missouri briefly barred its sale in July. And the Environmental Protection Agency, not known for its aggressiveness under President Trump, is weighing its own action.

Continued directly from downtown NYC............

 Now back to what I was thinking again last night during the stamped steel haul for Tyota's new Highlanders, after over 10 years of knowing the same results looking upwards!

While viewing the bright white lighting from my front porch light, to convenience store gas pump's lighting, to huge lights lighting the steel plant's docks at Vincennes, Indiana, there are NO millers or moths :!:

A l l s u m m e r l o n g, and you know the reason is "M" :!:  No one says a word since the Monarch rules the alternate news shows. I could start listing the names of moths and butterflies we once saw but the list is too long and it's my bedtime.

Truck's big windshields don't get covered with bug smashes like they once did! There's far fewer moths and butterflies stuck to the bug screens in front of the radiators. Many times I've "polled" the grills of parked semi trucks while leaving the truck stop, pretty clean mostly!

To start some interaction here, let us dedicated few pirates know what's bugging your porch light in your neck of the woods. Check out the spider's webs too for moths all wrapped up for lunch. You'll likely see zero, zip, nada!

Turn! Turn! Turn! (to Everything There Is A Season) - The Byrds @ YouTube

Lyrics

To everything (turn, turn, turn)
There is a season (turn, turn, turn)
And a time to every purpose, under heaven
A time to be born, a time to die
A time to plant, a time to reap
A time to kill, a time to heal
A time to laugh, a time to weep
To everything (turn, turn, turn)
There is a season (turn, turn, turn)
And a time to every purpose, under heaven
A time to build up, a time to break down
A time to dance, a time to mourn
A time to cast away stones, a time to gather stones together
To everything (turn, turn, turn)
There is a season (turn, turn, turn)
And a time to every purpose, under heaven
A time of love, a time of hate
A time of war, a time of peace
A time you may embrace, a time to refrain from embracing
To everything (turn, turn, turn)
There is a season (turn, turn, turn)
And a time to every purpose, under heaven
A time to gain, a time to lose
A time to rend, a time to sew
A time for love, a time for hate
A time for peace, I swear it's not too late

Abnormal Insect Numbers Is FINALLY In The World News Today :!:

Like I've noted elsewhere well above this post, the paranormal part still sleeps quietly in the OP. You do have my permission to wake it up at anytime.

Coast to Coast AM's "Crypto News" with George Norry reported this past Thursday night that 75% of flying insects have had their numbers diminished greatly. Scroll down this page for a link to the Telegraph (UK) and more underlined in "red". This piece does not include Monsanto's name but Dow AgroSciences in France is getting lots of criticism.

Fewer mashed flying insects on windshields are also included in the study from Germany. This is nothing new, as an American trucker, I seldom see large butterflies or small ones on our (70) truck's bug screens for the last 10 years :!:

Security lighting has NOT been attracting bugs in large numbers for the same amount of time. Just leave your porch light on and take note, if you haven't already done that.

Alternate news clips repeatedly noted the Colony Collapse Disorder term and President Putin stated one time publicly that their resulting deaths can be a harbinger for some real bad times between countries!

US study finds rise in human glyphosate levels :o

October 25, 2017

Levels of glyphosate, a controversial chemical found in herbicides, markedly increased in the bodies of a sample population over two decades, a study published Tuesday in a US medical journal said.

The increase dated from the introduction of genetically-modified glyphosate-tolerant crops in the United States in 1994.
The findings published in the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) came as the European Commission proposed on Tuesday to renew the license for glyphosate for a shorter than usual five to seven years.
That decision by the EU's executive arm followed a growing uproar over the alleged danger of its use.
Researchers compared the levels of glyphosate in the urine of 100 people living in California. It covered a 23-year period starting from 1993, the year before the introduction of genetically-modified crops tolerant to Roundup.
Glyphosate-containing Roundup, produced by US agro giant Monsanto, is one of the world's most widely-used weedkillers.

Here's a question to all today. What do you think will be the fate of Monsanto?

Edited on 11/2/17:

Your opinions still count but their fate was in the Drudge Report this morning.

"Monsanto, which is being acquired by Bayer AG for $63.5 billion, has said its dicamba herbicide is safe when applied properly and that U.S. farmers failed to follow label instructions." They always blame the user and not the originator!

Monsanto Faces Blowback Over Cancer Cover-Up

A release of internal emails has revealed that U.S. agrochemical giant Monsanto manipulated studies of the company's herbicide, Roundup. Experts believe the product causes cancer - and the consequences for the company could be dire.

Friday night conservative radio host Jim Bohannon took offense from the detractors of GMO engineering saying it's something evil coming from basically our fields of gold. Jim gave the seed engineer's generated higher grain yields much needed credit for feeding the world.

That's all good to keep saying but America's farm families were doing OK replenishing our planet's groceries department long before 1996 :!: In the recent history of yield comparisons, the yield per acre is not much greater, if not the same as, in modern times, before GMO's.

Should we be eating the corn kernels that squirrels won't eat? I have ear corn for them close to our black walnut tree. Heck! I guess they just like walnuts since they haven't touched the corn in two months!

It's a balancing act of pro and con, tit for tat!

We can rest easier now.

Large US Farm Study Finds No Cancer From Monsanto's Glyphosate...........The Drudge Report

https://ca.news.yahoo.com/large-u-farm- ... nance.html

On the other side of the coin there's this fact to deal with not found on properly labeled food containers.

There's always the insect's left overs for "us", as the harvested grain, that the bugs could not eat since they were quickly dead from their first bite of the root, leaves or grain :!:

Is it NOT too late for killing the past and coming back to life?

Monsanto's “Bt corn” is equipped with a gene from the soil bacteria Bacillus thuringiensis (Bt), which produces Bt toxin—a pesticide that breaks open the stomach of certain insects and kills them.

Studies have shown the Bt's in our food but the amounts are too minuscule to harm humans. That reminds us of any US city's fluoridated drinking water supply, with them claiming the tiny ppm "dose" was added for "strong teeth" with no harmful side effects.

It's not too late for............."killing the past and coming back to life"

Jeffery Smith was on C2C AM with George Noory last night. In short his anti GMO's topic is never a good one from our fields of gold.

The wily, walnut lovin,' local squirrels to date, have not yet touched the ears of corn outside in front of our home.🌽

So Coast Insiders, if your'e a dedicated foods label reader, turn it on. If not, go back to where you were on your smart phone.📲
