The same reasoning (see below articles) for not informing the public of "alien
hardware" found on Mars could also be justification to withhold information
about artificial structures throughout our solar system - and even an artificial
signal or two. And if intelligent aquatic life Mars once thrived on Mars - might
not that same life form now be using our oceans as a refuge.

Have a tape somewhere, which shows the Russian probe at Mars being intercepted by a triangular something then all transmission gone. I believe it was back in 1989 or some date around there.
I grabbed that Documentary on tape quick!!

I remember seeing that on some TV show, but can't remember which or when. I do remember that I was fairly well convinced that the probe was intentionally shot down by something or someone on Phobos; not 100%, but maybe 85 or 90% in my mind. Thanks for the remonder, Clatu.

As important as Mars is, apparently?, perhaps Venus is where all the UFO gold is, less the terrible atmospheric stories. Amazing how Titan's become more important than sending a probe to Venus.

The archaeological evidence for a extinct civilization on the surface of Mars is a national security matter, because mainstream religion --- which is founded upon the uniqueness and the supremacy of humankind in the universe --- would lose its power and cease to keep the lower class in line if the truth came out. Come to think of it, at this point in the history of the 'Merikan Empire, any truth is a matter of national security because any disclosure of truth would undermine the psycho-social power of the lie upon which our society rests.

Can't blame You as an obvious lesser researcher for pushing fun at what I'd said.
But yes Pirates, I grabbed the shot of a documentary many years ago as sent back by the Russian probe as it was intercepted and it's quick and short but there.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know, planets eventually die .. or are destroyed .. I know all about that, most everyone does. And I suppose since a planet is about to be destroyed by the natives, the aliens could come along and lay claim to what we don't seem to appreciate and seem intent to destroy and ... yeah, sure, you can whack a planet and steal all it's water, that's really no big trick - just hit a planet hard, then collect all that frozen popsicle goodness as a ring around the dead rock .. Them gray beasts can harvest a whole planet in one shot by just shaking all that stuff loose - ha. So blaaah, whaddayouorigonnadoaboutitanyhow? You can't stop either, so why fret about it and scare the living daylights out of everyone. Oh why do you humans want to dredge these things up for everytime? Just to terrify and bumeveryoneout until it eventually happens, as it does about this time in the cycles of greater galactic things? Oh why can't you just accept these things. You know they won't tell you, and nor would they let you tell them if you knew. They will just all laugh at you and think you crazy anyhow .. and they will distract them never the less too. They simply are not going to tell you anything, and so you have to find out for yourselves and put it all together. And, those that would rather not know, well .. just continue to look at the funny picture and smile until the end.

They will never tell you ... Never! (and if you KNEW, you wouldn't either .. that would be cruel if you did .. I mean, you don't make a point in telling the cows what you intend to do with them, right?)
