My favs!

But my little cat used to eat chocolate ice cream all the time. Nothing happened.

:( Honestly, though this is a light-hearted thread, I feel this should be investigated. Why some pets get sick, and others don't.

Doesn't seem fair. :(

Good thread, however.

Did you ever stop to think, and then forget to start again?

I love golden retrievers. They are so beautiful. That's strange. I never heard of a dog liking tomatoes. Or bananas either. :)

I know dogs love ice cream. Mine did. Aren't cats supposed to like milk? My cat doesn't like milk or people food. She is a water nut. Never seen anything like it. Only problem with that though, is the cost of the kitty litter and the time it takes to clean it. You'd swear there were 3 cats here instead of just one.

It would be interesting to know why some get sick and some don't. I wonder if it might have to do with the breed, their make up or their genetics. Like some people are alergic to certain things and some aren't. Or maybe like some people can drink and some can't.

I don't know if I should put this in this thread, but since it is for fun, I hope it is OK. This is really neat.

Two rather ordinary items -- a roll of

MENTOS

one 2 liter bottle of Diet soda...

wow!

That's an oldie but goodie sweet marie.... You can stare at it and either close your eyes or look toward the ceiling and you will be able to see him.... I know who it is, but I don't want to ruin it for others.... thanks for posting.

A few more things you should know

Post by sweet marie » 08-26-2006 04:59 AM

I don't know if these are true. Just for fun.

1: The liquid inside young coconuts can be used as a substitute for Blood plasma.

2: No piece of paper can be folded in half more than seven (7) times.

3: Donkeys kill more people annually than plane crashes.

4: You burn more calories sleeping than you do watching television.

5: Oak trees do not produce acorns until they are fifty (50) years of age or older.

6: The first product to have a bar code was Wrigley's gum.

7: The King of Hearts is the only king WITHOUT A MOUSTACHE

8: American Airlines saved $40,000 in 1987 by eliminating one (1) olive from each salad served in first-class.

9: Venus is the only planet that rotates clockwise.
(Since Venus is normally associated with women, what does this tell you!)

10: Apples, not caffeine, are more efficient at waking you up in the morning.

11: Most dust particles in your house are made from DEAD SKIN!

12: The first owner of the Marlboro Company died of lung cancer. So did the first "Marlboro Man."

12: Walt Disney was afraid OF MICE!

13: PEARLS MELT IN VINEGAR!

14: The three most valuable brand names on earth:
Marlboro, Coca Cola, and Budweiser, in that order.

15: It is possible to lead a cow upstairs...but, not downstairs.

16: A duck's quack doesn't echo, and no one knows why.

17: Dentists have recommended that a toothbrush be kept at least six (6) feet away from a toilet to avoid airborne particles resulting from the flush.

(I keep my toothbrush in the living room now!)

18: Richard Millhouse Nixon was the first U.S. president whose name contains all the letters from the word "criminal."
The second ? William Jefferson Clinton

And the best for last.....

19: Turtles can breathe through their butts.
(I know some people like that, don't YOU?)

#12 is also not quite true - based on his partner's writing when he was a young man. The two were living in squallor type area - and they made a pet out of a mouse. Disney often fed the mouse crumbs...
