I played the original UT for years, played sniper then moved onto R&G, played with the Zark Rifle(full auto-slamming and jammin), I never got into reg weapons till 2k4, I only play DeathMatch, I never got into the other play types, I designed several maps for the original UT, The editor that comes with UT is awesome, once one learns the program, you can make amazing maps and even images..
I guess I could set up a server for the Fantastic Forum and design some maps with pirate ships and such and everyone could join in and kill each other with reckless abandon....
I have seen the videos about 2k7, I think I might have to look into building something with some more horsepower for 2k7

Unreal and all its spin offs. Doom and all its..., StarTrek Away Team, Most FPS. Riddick, Warcraft and all its..., etc.
I really like the old NES stuff as well as Atari arcade games.
I'm a real live quarter playing old timer. Asteroids and Defender still rule!
I presently am engaged in Far Cry (which I never played when it first came out) and Dungeon Siege II. I tend to multitask when it comes to games and books.
For me unreal was the break out game of modern graphical interfaces and great storylines. JMHO
Klotskis was the best puzzle game of all time.

Still have my old original NES w/NES Advantage Controller, last I checked it was still working. Also have Super NES too. Not sure if all the games batteries are still working to save advances, but they were easy to take apart and the battery can be bought.
Early this year I bought but have yet to try the "Atari Flashback 2 Classic Game Console" It has 40 Built in games, so no cartridges. I was going to give it away as a Birthday Present to a a friend then thought about it..nah..I'll keep it for me:eek:

ha, I love playing UT, been playing it since day one. I was hoping it would become available for the PSP so I could frag some local wireless victims - ha. I even remember when I discovered the original Unreal game for the first time, recalling having stayed up for two days without sleep before I was able to beat it (I suppose I could have finished it sooner, but I was constantly being distracted to explore that virtual landscape - ha, and that razorjack weapon was just too much fun, especially in small tight rooms - I just wish the game had a higher gore level - ha, it was a little lacking on the auditory side - they could have added some blood curdling screams and agonizing moaning and other torturous sounds than just those blood splattering sounds - ha).

Went to buy a PDA at Circuit city and Best Buy (They didn't have any on display...I like to play with it before I buy it. ) Tons of kids and adults camping out on the sidewalks. Brings me back to the days of camping out for concert tickets.
I raise my glass to the dedicated consumers of foriegn made products of brain induced seizured fun. < That's how the aliens are preparing us for their eventual take over....>
I forgot to mention the SplinterCell series earlier. I figured I need to take a peek at Uncle George's and Auntie Rummy's secret black op tactics. Just play as cousin Oliver South (errr) and sell certain products to the right-wing fiends in aa certain mid... you get the drift.
Div....I still jam to Unreal the original. I think it's a portal to a new world.

Yeah, I was pretty bad back then - ha. I recall sitting up all night, sipping on a modest bit-o-G (before it became illegal) to help keep me loose and aggressive (ha), a little herb to keep me relaxed and confident (ha), and coffee coffee and more coffee - ha. and yes, I do enjoy exploring a well designed mystical virtual world. I even created a couple of my own MODS for UT. Ah, the good old days. I haven't played Unreal for a while now, maybe 3 years. I still play UT once in a while. Right now I'm engaged in kicking butt playing Texas Hold Em in that 2007 poker game (if not for the prime directive, I'd be in Vegas right now myself taking candy from the humans, or I suppose maybe in Iraq playing UT too - ha). BTW, although I've not done this for about 6 years now, I was into paintball before Unreal caught my attention. Capture the FLAG!!! INSTALL THE ONE WORLD ORDER!!! (snickering)Div....I still jam to Unreal the original. I think it's a portal to a new world.
Outside of Nintendo, I mean I just bought a new PS2, cheap. The PS2 games dropped in price so I thought why not plus the PS2 can use for editing VCD/CD/DVDs freeing up by CD and DVD Burners. I just can't see or afford to pay 700+ Cdn for another console. And if I did it would probably be a lot less as I'd buy the Wii first.

You know what would really suck: Having to wait a day or longer in line in the cold for one of those latest game machine thingies only to get home and discover the thing is inop! And, worse yet, when you return to the store hoping for an exchange, you discover they are all gone now until after the holidays. I wonder if we'll hear about any freaked out gamer horror stories today in the news - ha.
