Hello!

I would like to express my sorrow at the passing of Shirley. She was a bright light for so very long here and such a great Fan, she will be missed by all.

It might be a good moment for me to say I will NOT be returning to Coast in any form. In fact I have requested that Premiere Radio cease Broadcast of the Saturday "Somewhere in Time" shows. My reasons for this are at this time private. However if they choose not to do so (as is their right) I will make my reasons Public as is my right.

I know it is a well worn phrase but, please stay tuned.

I haven’t talked to her on the phone in months and she stopped emailing me the classic c2c. I just thought she was pissed off at me. We are so different but the same.

She didn’t even come see me in a dream. I don’t think she is dead.

Yea its sad about Shirley.... I guess she didnt get along with alot of ppl here BEFORE I GOT HERE so im not sure the full story but its sad regardless.......

I had lurked on the FF since back in the days of spikemike but didn't know much about computers and thought maybe I couldn't keep up with everybody so I just enjoyed the Pirate's posts while I listened to Art. I joined FF in '07 to get me over a rough patch in my life when I needed some friends and fun. When Linnea passed, I got an e mail that the ff was probably going to close and I may want to join FF2 so I did. A few months later, I wanted to look something up in the archives and lo and behold, FF was still here and Dale was quite welcoming to me. I kind of thought then that I had missed something that had been going on in the background. Still and all, Shirley was encouraging and nice to me when I was going through something rough and I feel sorrow at her passing. Don't get me wrong, she scolded me plenty of times though, lol!

I had the same thing happen with me - getting e-mails saying that FF was closing and that a new FF2 was forming. I joined and posted on some topics and got hammered by a few people nearly everytime I posted something. After a while I checked back here and FF was still here despite e-mails about the demise of FF. I've decided not to even bother with them anymore.......
