When m-ms were first changed to SKIM MILK/MILKFAT in 2000 i was going from store to store buying $50 or more of all older original m-ms i could find and my mom/dad thought was a bit excessive i guess........ (I also did the same when hershey bars were changed from SOYA LECITHIN to SOY LECITHIN (2004) and now dont taste as good!!)

I'm frugal to a fault so for me, paying the prevailing price for most anything is extravagant.

The Frugality Song
(To the tune of My Favorite Things)

Discounts and blowouts, 2-4-1 rewards,
Outlets and floor models, closing sale signboards
Coupons and rebates, eBay, hagglings
These are a few of my favorite things

Close-to-date, day-old and 'loss-leader' grocery,
(Aldi's a great place for food that's less-costly)
Resale shop, yard sale, flea market sightings,
Why pay more when you can reap BIG savings?

Call me cheap, call me tight, call me a miser -
Penny saved, penny earned, so much the wiser!
Stretching out dollars a fat wallet brings,
Making the most from those penny pinchings:

When the price drops
When the sale starts
When the bargains are rad
When I pay WAY less than retail for things
You can bet that I feel so glad!
