I joined this BOINC seti-alien search thing a little after the middle of december...and went to team Art Bell.

I have my PC running and BOINC manager running all the time.

I have 4355.51 total credit and 183.87 average credit. I don't know if this is good or bad.

Also, what does "communication deferred" mean?

Communication deferred means that communications with the Berkeley servers have been deferred until later. If the servers can't be contacted BOINC will try again in a little while. No big deal. It will eventually contact the server.
