Great job everyone. Remember, there are no guarantees that any of them will be used because it's ultimitely up to David Anderson (the guy in charge at SETI@home U.C. Berkeley)

Not many takers! Well, I just submitted them and we'll see what Dave Anderson thinks...it will be up to him since the logo they have now is his.

Everyone, I got a response from David Anderson after I submitted the logos...here is what he said:

Dave Meyerson for the Astropulse logo. It was the first one submitted to this thread. Below is a picture of it.

Another contest, if anyone wants to participate, is designing a cool logo for the SETI@home II client that won't be here for a while. You can start submitting them now and when I hear that it is ready to come out I will send the submissions to Dave Anderson for his perusal. He was really appreciative of our effort and it shows for Astropulse (see below). To my surprise, while beta-testing, there was never a logo in the AP client but this morning when BOINC finished a SETI@home wu and returned it the logo downloaded along with the new AP client and two wu's. Once it started crunching the AP wu I went to "Show Graphics" and there it was! Very cool! Congrats to Dave;)

Dave, e-mail me with how you want my computer used. Do you want me to start crunching now for a month on the original SAH? Or wait until BOINC is released which should be any day now?
