I woke up to Shakira (in Hamburg) gyrating her hips all over the place! Those hips don't like... Don't know what that means but I'd be willing to have a conversation with it
Edit: Oops i Mean Those hips don't LIE!

Al Talking to Larry King about how this all came together, you have to let it go through a commercial and another .45 sec spot and then the interview comes up.

The streaming player at MSN is excellent, BTW, but (of course), it only works right in IE. (See link I posted somewhere above.)
Underneath the video screen it gives you choices of what to listen to. It has what's going on live on every stage, telling you who's playing and who's up next and when, and they are re-playing the concerts from the places where they've ended already.
There's a button in the bottom right hand corner to make it full screen, too.
If there's someone you missed or that they don't show on the TV, this would be a good place to find it.

I've been watching the MSN streaming player since early this morning--with all the choices from the concerts around the world, it's almost too much to take in. Right now I'm watching Keith Urban at the NY/NJ concert (never paid too much attention to him before, but for a country performer by way of Oz, he can really rock, and he does his own lead guitar work), and earlier I caught bits of Genesis, Metallica, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Jack Johnson, Toni Collette (who has a band but should stick to acting), and more. Gave Snoop Dogg a miss, though. And a lot of the big acts have yet to appear.

I loved Metallica!! Best I've ever seen them.
Hope this day puts a "60's" spark into our young on the this planet to demand action from the world's Governments. And all of us old cronies too.

We're having a ball with this! Got Bravo on the TV and the MSN player on the 'puter. Whatever is the best thing on, we can choose. Cool! Haven't been able to crank the sound up yet 'cuz my (night owl) daughter is still asleep and I'm trying to be considerate, but... as soon as she's awake, we can crank it up. The TV is connected to my stereo (and it's a nice one -- bought in the 70s for what was major bucks back then, and carefully maintained over the years as components needed replacing), so we can get some really good sound outta this (hopefully SOON!).

Al Gore slams global warming doubters at Live Earth
Former US vice president Al Gore took a swipe at global warming doubters Saturday as he opened the Washington leg of the worldwide Live Earth concerts that he helped organize.
Washington was a last-minute addition to the global event months after organizers failed to find a space on the US capital's National Mall, a sprawling green space featuring monuments including the Congress building.
Other events had reportedly already booked spaces for the same day on the Mall, while a subsequent bid by some lawmakers to bring the show to the doorsteps of the US Capitol was blocked by some Republican lawmakers.
But the National Museum of the American Indian finally offered its venue on the Mall for the show, which featured the Native American band Blues Nation and an acoustic performance from country music stars Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood.
"Some who don't understand what is now at stake tried to stop this event on the Mall," the former Democratic presidential candidate said in a thinly veiled hit on members of President George W. Bush's Republican party.
"But here we are," he said as an image of a bright Earth shined behind him. "And it wasn't the cavalry who came to our rescue, it was the American Indian."
A few hundred spectators turned out for the concert, which began at 10:30 am (1430 GMT).
Gore, who has become a leading voice on global warming and won an Oscar for his documentary "An Inconvenient Truth," was to appear later at the New York leg of Live Earth.
Live Earth kicked off in Sydney with other shows also taking place during the day in Tokyo, Shanghai, Hamburg, London, Johannesburg and Rio de Janeiro, which are expected to attract an audience of two billion people.
Performers include Madonna, The Police, Keith Urban, the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Lenny Kravitz.
