Linnea wrote: Joolz! Thanks for bringing us to the needfire. And, Sandy - I was clearly connected in thought with you, across the water on the peninsula - when I was with the tree, the sky and the moon. Maybe a challenge for us, is to transmute the deep sadness into purpose.....within the circle. Time to douse the candle, and get some rest, and to be carried along in the wave of energy of the needfires.
I felt you as well, Linn, and I could not agree more.

Thank you.
Thank you, all.

Oh yesssssss. Great power there. Thank you for sharing this, Sandy.

Linn... we were getting ready to go out to the pub last night when I was preparing this post. Corvid asked if I was ready to go, and I told him that I needed to get this post up first. And I did. I just felt really strongly that it was something I needed to do, and that I needed to do right then, not wait. I am glad that it touched many and was what we needed. I just knew I had to pass it on...

Yes you were. A loving circle of friends.

I am going to start crying again, so I will do what I do when I run out of words...use pictures. (OK Cinny, I know, but I couldn't find another on such short notice :p )

Thank you for a wonderful, beautiful thread. I was asleep while all the action was happening, but I'm so glad you all did it. Linn, you're doing great!
I love you all.

I was not aware of this post. I performed the ceremony in my head and heart (the inner temple), just now. Time is irrevelant in this case. Whether or not the real time of the event was the same as my participation in it, I was compelled to do it. I woke up today feeling more balanced, more positive (not like a rattler caught in a corner) so I KNOW your ceremonies worked, before I did mine to show solidarity, though a bit late on my part, due to my unawareness of this post.

Dabboo, that's just fine. I'm glad that you joined in. For those just now seeing this thread, they can still join in, too.

Did anybody else do this? We'd love to hear from you!

Wasn't able to get back to this thread last night. The ceremony was accomplished on my patio. We are expecting 14-35 mile an hour wind tomorrow. Will scatter the ashes tomorrow and try to accomplish the grounding meditation while I am out to the horses. The candle remains will be buried on the ranch. I want to thank Joolz for this ceremony. No matter who wins on Tuesday, if we all work together we can accomplish peace.

Namaste

Thank you, daboodaddy, for joining your energy with ours today. And yes, time is of no real importance here. I'm glad that you found this thread and joined with us in solidarity. Many blessings, friend. :)

Dev, glad you found this thread, too, my dear friend. Drink deep...

And shecoda, thank you so much for joining with us. This is what we need. Unity. Strength of purpose and clear vision. We will work together to heal. Namaste.

To everyone else who shared with us last night... Linnea, Sandy, Cindy, Iris, Bellisima, and Corvid :) ... THANK YOU for recognizing a need shared and for responding with your hands and your hearts. Love and blessings to you all.

The circle is open, but unbroken...

You are very welcome, Joolz. ;) and all others who participated, big thanks. Solidarity is necessary.
Look at how well organized the Fundies are.
They are NOT divided.
