Megman leaves Casa Dev
Well, Megman took off for Puerto Escondido yesterday afternoon. I regaled him with a "neck wallet" (one you wear around your neck and under your clothing) so that he might avoid further economic contact with the Mexican police. It will be very hot at the beach, Meggers, but it's good to be off exploring. Keep track of what's happening plitically in Honduras before you rove across too many international borders!!
You don't have to believe everything that you think...
Sounds like you were a good host for Meg. I'm sure he appreciated your welcoming casa after his ordeal.
I looked up Puerto Escondido and it looks very beautiful there. Lots of markets, and beaches. It's a fishing community but surfers like it there very much.
Lots of people from all over visit. Here is the site I was viewing:

After graduating, in the tumultuous sixties, she married Tony, the bad-boy son of a Polish émigré poet. Later on, in 1980, her father-in-law, Czeslaw Milosz, was awarded the Nobel Prize for literature. Tony and Sareda lived an alternative lifestyle where heavy partying was part of the makeup. After seven years it finally sunk in that the party was over; they amicably divorced yet are on friendly terms.

Dale!
Thanks... I wasn't sure how to go about searching for that one.
Wow... tough thread.
You know, Dale, now I remember why we try so hard to preserve & defend this forum. It really is unique.
Thank you.
And Megman - I'm slowly beginning to understand the true scope of your travels - and man, am I amazed. Truly.

Maybe someday, before it all fades, I'll put some of my adventures to pen/paper.
Sareda was one of the more interesting people I had the extreme pleasure of meeting in real life. I consider myself blessed in this instance. She gave me strength and inspiration. Its a shame she was called away. Hate to admit it but I got something stuck in my eye reliving this memory......
