Hey Meg!

For 20 years now I've had a dream of sailing my own boat off into the sunset.

He has crossed the border into Guat to refresh his visa, the back to Escondido. Then who knows?

Yes, Coral snakes are potentially lethal to humans. The venom is neurotoxic, causing respiratory paralysis in the victim, who succumbs to suffocation.

The problem with corals is they don't just bite and run but they latch on and keep pumping as much venom as they can.

I got nailed on the hand and was fortunate enough to be about 6 min from the Jungle medic station in town. Normally you can be dead in 10 minutes.

But I lived to tell about it...........

No 'net access!
Where did you have to go to find that hellhole, heh. Even cruise ships, planes and trains have access.

Actually her name is Sasha and she left to go back Germany a year ago May. The one kid pointing at the camera is Rodolpho, the sweetest kid you ever want to meet. He's still out at Casa Guatemala.

BEHOLD! The ghost of Megman the Ostrich King! He- oh wait, sorry. I read "pump full of venom" and expeced the worst. Mike, good to hear that no John Wayne-type wanted to slice it open & suck out the poison. The Hollywood director and/or screenwriter who thought of that should get his grave desecrated. Good to hear you're okay. :)

Have to agree 100% Spike:eek:

They actually have a suction device for it now, but in the case of the coral by the time it gets located it's too late.

Heard about a case down here last year when last visiting of a local who got bit on the hand by a coral snake out in the jungle and he didn't even hesitate. He just took his machette and cut his hand off:eek:

Only thing that saved his life.
