Paul I am a big fat baby Krugman
You know it's one thing to spew your opinion and then quite another to then say "I'm not going to allow comments on this post for the obvious reasons".
The obvious reasons are Paul Krugman is a bully and a big baby - he runs up on someone in the school yard, hits them and then runs away.
Would commemoration of this event (I don't even need to say why) be anything other than subdued? This idiot (I know I'm resorting to name calling) has confused reverence with shame.
I mean really I've read posts on this board far more intelligent and insightful (and I'm talking about comments from people who don't necessarily share my views) than musings from this so called Professor of Economics.

A man's character is his fate

Yes you are correct - a very bitter man.
Whenever I encounter people like this it does make me wonder what it is which makes them like this - not because it's an excuse but because I am probably suffering from morbid curiousity.

Well it is a lame post, but we did go to war on false pretenses and many many innocent people are dead, and yet we are still under threat of terrorist attack supposedly and if anything the world is a more dangerous place now.
The press especially was and is to blame for not questioning anything ie : http://www.washingtonsblog.com/2011/06/ ... r-911.html

This may blow your mind....the New Yorker has published an article alleging Krugman's WIFE may at least partially be writing his articles.Diogenes wrote: You know it's one thing to spew your opinion and then quite another to then say "I'm not going to allow comments on this post for the obvious reasons".

http://www.newyorker.com/reporting/2010 ... ntPage=allWhen he has a draft, he gives it to Wells to edit. Early on, she edited a lot--she had, they felt, a better sense than he did of how to communicate economics to the layperson. (She is also an economist--they met when she was a postdoc at M.I.T. and he was teaching there.) But he's much better at that now, and these days she focusses on making him less dry, less abstract, angrier. Recently, he gave her a draft of an article he'd done for Rolling Stone. He had written, "As Obama tries to deal with the crisis, he will get no help from Republican leaders," and after this she inserted the sentence "Worse yet, he'll get obstruction and lies."
