Talked to someone from my district who is back in Denver for the DNC. One of the things that are going on besides the convention is all kinds of exhibits, including Green Frontier Fest. What she was most excited about (other than the convention itself) was an exhibit there showing a 2 car garage with solar panels on it's roof. The two cars are electric/gas and the cars plug in at night recharged with power collected during the day from the solar panels. Very expensive right now, but could be viable and affordable within the next 7-10 years. She has promised to bring back pictures!
