So you're saying the promise of parity is as wafer thin as the technology behind it?

Wind power is a big success as long as you disregard all the protected raptors the wind mills kill, and the amount of time they have to be feathered. (The windmills)

Tesla's New Battery Could Solve One Of Solar Power's Biggest Problems
The quest for a good battery that can store home-generated power is kind of like the holy grail for a renewable energy future. This one product might change everything.

Solar power works - though we currently only use our solar battery backup system as emergency (regular power outages) - it works well.

Changing over to a total solar battery backup would require more solar units than what we have and a larger group of batteries, though the Tesla might be even better.

We have had ours since the late 1990's. It has come in quite valuable in providing 110 services on numerous occasions. However, currently it will not provide 24/7 so a generator is also needed. Again if there were more panels and even better battery storage, it would do so.
