Hey MKII, your wind power article got me thinking, all the CC hullabaloo focuses on humans emitting greenhouse gases? And CO2 is a atmospheric 'pollutant'?

Far's noxious contamination, I'm way more concerned over all the IN-YOUR-FACE HOT AIR billowing from alarmist windbags' & blowhards' upper AND lower orifices.
No one, including me and all the animals, gets a guilt complex exhaling carbon dioxide. The scientist who reported that CO2 was a pollutant should have been arrested on the spot!

REF: "noxious contamination" those windbags and blowhards speaking and tooting gives us more of a concern 24-7-395 days!

My answer is both A & B!

Here's a photo shopped pic of 7 + K acre solar farm! You can see it's over some buildings and the scale compared to the terrain underneath makes it off kilter.

But curing climate change is their goal and THEY are armed to the teeth in this brainwashed battle to win at a price all good American's will shoulder, some happily, some not so much! :realmad:

The Atlantic reports..........by DARRAN ANDERSON - NOV 2, 2018 :?

In the opening scene of Blade Runner 2049, a flying craft navigates California over an endless expanse of solar farms and tessellated plastic fields on its way to a desolate farmstead. Watching it, I was struck by the dazzling futuristic spectacle, but also surprised to see the countryside at all in a science-fiction film.

Often in speculative fiction, the future belongs to the city alone. Rural areas are conspicuously ignored, as if urbanization will expand inexorably. When the countryside does appear, it mostly offers stark contrast to the technologically advanced metropolis. A lost arcadia, rural life falls into desolate ruin, populated only by scavengers and exiles.

Rome, Italy: The Vatican, as if THEY don't have scandals to handle, warns climate change is the key challenge of our age.

by Thomas D. Williams, Ph.D

In its ongoing climate crusade, the Vatican newspaper L’Osservatore Romano echoed dire warnings in its weekend edition that the present generation may be the last to be able to battle global warming effectively.
“Climate change is the key challenge of our time. Our generation is the first to experience the rapid increase in temperatures all over the world and probably the last that can effectively combat the imminent global climate crisis,” the Vatican paper declares, citing a joint declaration signed by 16 heads of state of European countries prior to the U.N. climate conference, Cop24, to be held in Katowice, Poland, from December 3 to 14.

“The effects of climate change,” the joint declaration states, “are well documented and are felt everywhere in the world.”

These effects allegedly include a “dramatic increase in heatwaves, with floods, droughts and landslides, the melting of glaciers and the rise in sea levels,” L’Osservatore Romano declares.

Furthermore, some of the “immediate results” of climate change will be “water shortages and crop crises,” the Vatican predicts.

The deal is......... the weather is and has been worked on for many years now! But NOT BECAUSE OF HUMAN (US , we the people) CAUSED CLIMATE CHANGE. But by "Chemtrails" (Chemicals) and Zapping the Layers of our Atmosphere with some really high powered microwave like applications. The deal is , that, by this "Manipulation", the weather will NOT return to what us old people remember! Once we are gone, it is clear sailing, no one left to "remember when".

What we have here, is a clear "Snake Oil" sale to the idiot people, who it is doubtful, that they even know , they are " Carbon Based" ,"Oxygen Breathers".

Details & Deviltry

Post by Riddick » 11-29-2018 04:12 PM

Wait, what? Chemtrails and microwaves cause climate change? That's not right. It'd screw up the big picture narrative. All the people need to know is the science is settled. Human CO2 emissions are to blame, and collective action is needed NOW: In the large, economic de-growth to a "sustainable" level is required -

What's "sustainable"? Ah, now THAT's a "little detail" of the portrait they'd sooner paint over... Living in a hole in the ground covered by a piece of twig... A daily diet consisting of a handful of hot gravel, and that's if you're lucky... A comfortable lifestyle, don'tchathink?

Would people be so willing and eager to get on board.with fighting climate change if they knew THAT's what's in store? Better to foster mass hysteria about the world coming to a hellish fiery end. That's a way easier sell.

Sacrifices will be necessary but remember, it's all for a good cause, people. Saving the planet is Number One.

Hi Doka, here's an interesting article. Forget about who the article is from, just think about the subject matter and whether you can relate to the topic. I for one, think that "climate change" is more than "too many cars, etc......" and has a lot to do with a warming solar system.

From my own experience, I know that the insect population around here has dropped. Bees aside, many insects I recall seeing from my yo0unger days just aren't seen anymore - or at least, not in as many numbers.......

Snippet:

But, the subject mater of the article itself is interesting nonetheless......

The Insect Apocalypse Is Here

Anyone who has returned to a childhood haunt to find that everything somehow got smaller knows that humans are not great at remembering the past accurately. This is especially true when it comes to changes to the natural world. It is impossible to maintain a fixed perspective, as Heraclitus observed 2,500 years ago: It is not the same river, but we are also not the same people.

A 1995 study, by Peter H. Kahn and Batya Friedman, of the way some children in Houston experienced pollution summed up our blindness this way: “With each generation, the amount of environmental degradation increases, but each generation takes that amount as the norm.” In decades of photos of fishermen holding up their catch in the Florida Keys, the marine biologist Loren McClenachan found a perfect illustration of this phenomenon, which is often called “shifting baseline syndrome.” The fish got smaller and smaller, to the point where the prize catches were dwarfed by fish that in years past were piled up and ignored. But the smiles on the fishermen’s faces stayed the same size. The world never feels fallen, because we grow accustomed to the fall.

We had an insect Apocalypse in my area, No hard , harsh winter, for about 3 years now, takes awhile to freeze and kill, larve, as well as adults.

Climate is dictated by the sun(s) and yes the Universe temps ebbs and flows also. Nothing sits around, every thing is ever changing. We have been in a"quiet sun" (sun spots) stage for some time now, one of many indications for a "cooling phase", so that is something to think about. Most of us can make ""Computer Model" of what ever we want, that's what these rogue, paid for hire, so called scientists are working off of.

True Grit

Post by Riddick » 11-30-2018 05:01 PM

Seems every day, there's another apocalypse - I thought insects were the food of the future? So much for that idea - Guess we'll have to find something else to eat, that's plentiful and filling and doesn't contribute to climate change eh?

We shouldn't be surprised if doomsayers'll soon be touting the benefits of eating gravel. NO FAT! NO CARBS! NO CALORIES! Stay slim and trim. And don't forget what's going to happen to the planet if you DON'T eat it.

It's natural they push it as a dietary staple, climate alarmists won't be satisfied 'til everyone's sh!tting bricks.
