FINALLY!!!! I have seen the future of personal transportation and it is amazing. Imagine if you will, a luxury sportscar that goes 0-60 in under 4 secs, has a top speed of 125 mph, and goes 225 to 250 miles on a single charge. It's HERE! RIGHT NOW! check it out.

If you can get past the $100,000 price tag.

Although, what you would save in buying gas for the next 15-20 years, it's definately worth it.

excellent specs! wish i could own one, but this car costs more than what i paid for my townhouse.... hopefully the price will come down over time.

How much will I pay for the car?

The 2008 Tesla Roadster currently has a base price of ,000. Pricing has not yet been announced for 2009 model year cars.

I was mostly amazed by the stylish "european" look of the car at first, then I read the specs on it and was hooked.
