Star Trek "Tradtionalists"
Moderator: Super Moderators
I guess I'm sort of a traditionalist--and sort of not. I prefer Jean-Luc. Being a Person of Scalp myself, he does us proud. And admittedly I have sort of a "thing" for Gates McFadden. (Redheads have a big edge in my universe.) But I liked Captain Janeway too, and Captain Archer. For some reason I never quite got into DS9, but I know folks who are staunch admirers.
Amongst the movies, my favorites have always been "The Voyage Home" with the whales, and "First Contact," with the strangely sexy Borg Queen and a drunk Zefrem Cochran rocking out to Roy Orbison's "Ooby Dooby."
And yes, I am really looking forward to the new film, particularly based on what the trailers have shown.

Bill, please also recall that William Shatner was a person-of-scalp, and lost it very early. Did not impact his sexiness. As far as the women, I'd ask you to put aside yer penchance for red-heads, and check out Lt. Uhura!!
Not trying to influence you in any way. Just saying!
Did you ever stop to think, and then forget to start again?

I like Counselor Troi!
She is incredibly attractive, intelligent, and empathic!

Well, this is similar to your picture - The "Mugato" creature from The Original Series (as seen here attacking Captain Kirk who is clad in Native American gear)
"You'll get used to my babbling, all the others have." - Anna Madrigal from "Tales Of The City" by Armistead Maupin
Race, you are a man of great class, intelligence and gentility.
So I will ask you one more time, politely, to compare yer boob-lady to my buff Nichelle. As well as Kirk, Spock, Sulu, Chekov, Scotty and that other lady in blue. It's on!!
Thank you for re-activating this thread, Guys.

In re: redheads, I can't escape my fascination, but that does not mean I disdain in any way blondes, brunettes, or any other flavor. Lt. Uhura definitely ranks as a Fine Looking Lady in my book, as does Counsellor Troi, and Seven of Nine, and Major Kira, and Kes, and T'Pol, and Hoshi, Lt. Torres, and... you get the picture.
Gene Roddenberry's vision of the future was not only enlightened and uplifting, it had babes in it.

I never particularly liked Kes but the episode "Warlord" of "Star Trek: Voyager" is I think the best episode of any of the versions of "Star Trek" where a woman (other than Captain Janeway) had the principal role. It provided for terrific, intelligent, and suspensful television viewing and Jennifer Lien proved she is an incredibly talented actress. If any of you have not seen this episode, you should.

I have desperately tried to find decent Janice Rand vids. Perhaps tommorow, when I'm fresh. Though I still don't see how she beats Uhura. Or any other woman I've posted! "I want you to look at my legs, Captain". Or something like that.
Kes???!! It's on, Guys.
