I think I know why Squid liked 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. It must have been the giant squid attack scene...that gave me nightmares.

Unless and until the Dude says otherwise I don't know why not...voguy wrote: Do "Little Rascal" episodes count?
I'll be interested to know which ones you choose. It's been ages since I was watching 'em regularly but even so I know they could be quite funny, depending on who-all was in the gang at the time and how young they were - Insofar Spanky and Alfalfa were big names right along, the bigger each became physically lead to diminishing returns on overall entertainment value IMHO.
I guess it says something insofar Little Rascals aka Our Gang shorts were produced in the '30s and '40s that you'd find them superior to any feature film from either of those decades eh?
Thought of another one!
1980s: A Fish Called Wanda (edging out Monty Python's Meaning of Life)

OK, rather than rack my mind I'll make another call here based only on B-movie memorability from childhood - I really enjoyed watching this flick on the local weekly SciFi/Horror TV late show and have never forgot it...
In fact, such an impression it left on my young self, years later it had no small bearing on my choosing Electrical Engineering emphasizing electromagnetics as my undergrad college major!
1950s: The Magnetic Monster (Trailer | Full Movie)
