Another metric indicating the economy is failing young people: more are living in poverty and fewer have jobs compared their parents' generation, the Baby Boomers, in 1980. FULL STORY

Besides the obvious of lack of jobs....

Remember that many of these Millenials were just handed things growing up - instead of having to work for them. And parental figures just handed them big allowances and the $$ was just spent and none of it every saved.

Most baby-boomers worked - whether it was babysitting, shoveling snow, mowing lawns, working on farms or etc. they were taught to save up for college or higher education. Say MOST, not all. (and yes college ed was cheaper but not when you compare minimum wages $1.25-$2.00 to later wages during when Millenials grew up.)

Sadly Millenials also call such jobs as beneath their dignity.

ehh?
