Just a Simple Independence Day Economic Comparison…

Happy 4th of July!

Just a Simple Independence Day Economic Comparison…

President Obama July 4th 2012 -vs- President Trump July 4th 2017

“Somehow we have to figure out how to boost the price of gasoline to the levels in Europe.”

Barack Obama urges world to stand against 'aggressive nationalism'

(Translation: If you love your country and want to keep it, You are an "Aggressive Nationalist" (Proud to be one myself!). Your choice "A keep your country "Nationalist" or Brainwashed, Globalist (NWO) type ?)

Obama's made his position very clear in this article. Do it his way or we will "Suffer" (He and his ilk , will make sure of it!) Not to mention the "Horrors" the people will experience if he wins. The promise of Utopia(His) is very alluring to many, except for one thing, the Human Mentality will not change, just a horrific change of "ownership" of it.

"Freedom is not about government redistribution of wealth"
Leftists like Barack Obama and Bernie Sanders pervert the entire notion of America's founding

The world - even the now Socialist countries, have been engaged in massive transfers of wealth for centuries. Just look at the European Socialist countries that still have monarchies which are supported by taxpayers. Talk about a transfer of wealth......

Snippet:

Is it time for Europe’s royal families to abdicate? In 2017, the British queen celebrates her 65-year sapphire jubilee, becoming the first British monarch to ever reach that milestone. Is it a moment of national unity and pride, or a reminder that many Europeans still live with an anachronistic political system?

In 2017, there are technically twelve sovereign monarchies in Europe. These include seven EU Members (Belgium, Denmark, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Spain, Sweden and, for now, the United Kingdom), as well as Norway, Andorra, Liechtenstein, Monaco, and Vatican City. There is currently no serious movement pushing for republicanism within any of these countries, but several European monarchies have been embroiled in scandals in recent years.

Royalists often argue that monarchies bring political stability, respect for tradition and a sense of national pride, along with hordes of tourists (not to mention a roaring trade for tabloid journalists). Republicans, meanwhile, respond that hereditary monarchy is an anachronism in a democratic society, particularly as they are often heavily subsidised by the taxpayer.

"Rob from the poor to give to the rich", has been around for a long time and doubt it will go away very soon. Look what happened when Trump, wanted to cut the dead wood out of government bureaucracy, they are still and forever will scream" bloody murder" when the pot is one of theirs, that they are siphoning money out of. "It is for the people, don't ya know!" And the ignorant masses seem to agree.

Oh, it's everywhere Doka - as I've mentioned a number of times here, I'm a practicing Roman Catholic, but there has been two stories circulating in the press lately about the Catholic Church in Rome. One is a story about an apartment just outside the walls of the Vatican that was rented by Vatican staff that was busted by Rome's police dept after receiving complaints about a large part and many people coming and going. When they arrived they found a large drug-fueled gay orgy with an umber of cardinals and priests from the Vatican.

Another is the story about how money from a charitable trust for a local hospital funded by the pope had money embezzled by a cardinal who used nearly half a million to refurbish his apartment inside the Vatican instead of using the money to help the poor kids who had no healthcare (even in the land of Socialized healthcare Italy.... ).

I find that the biggest critics are also the biggest hypocrites, and The Church apparently leads the conga line........ And, it doesn't stop there as Trump gets much of his support from the Religious Right which condemns many other groups. While I don't have any experience with the Protestant denominations, they appear to use some of the same moral arguments of The Church and I keep hearing Christ's words admonishing people to take a look at themselves before criticizing others.....

But, to get back to your point, there is far too much government regulation and duplication in regulations - federal and states doing the same thing, or federal rules overriding state rules, etc..... Just keeping up with the compliance mess is a nightmare.
